Fine hotel, very dishonest night clerk! We were satisfied with our room. Large space, comfy beds, good water pressure in the shower, grassy areas for our dog, perfectly fine. Until we smelled natural gas in our room. Right by our bed. We tolerated it for a few hours thinking it must be some weird fluke; hoping it would go away. We tried to solve it ourselves by opening the room’s windows, ran an extra fan we brought, and turned on the room’s unit fan. By 11:30 pm I had started feeling dizzy and had developed a headache. I went downstairs and reported it, and asked the clerk if we could please be moved to another room. He said no, there were no other rooms available. He was tersely polite, but argued with me over even the possibility there could be a gas leak in our room. He clearly didn’t believe me. We have had a natural gas leak in our home before. We know a gas leak when we smell it. I went back upstairs, and when I opened the door to our room, the gas smell was so overpowering that we were afraid to go to sleep in there. I went downstairs again and nicely told the clerk that we would have to leave the hotel seeing as though they didn’t have any other rooms. Suddenly, a room became available! Hmmm. Thats weird. Noticeably irritated with me, he assigned us to a different room. Even so, I asked him to please come upstairs and check out the gas smell for safety’s sake. He did so as we were moving out, and said that there was no smell. That wasn’t true. The difference in smell between the hallway and our room was quite pronounced, and I felt sick as well. We felt insulted that he was insinuating that we were crazy. We had just driven 12 hours, were exhausted, and certainly weren’t excited to drag all our stuff and our dog to a new room at Midnight. We were honestly worried for our safety. We stayed overnight in the new room, but I was so angry that the clerk had lied to us about room availability, and that he wouldn’t admit there was a problem with our room when he came upstairs. If I hadn’t said we were leaving, he would have forced us to stay in that gas filled room all night. It was wrong to be dishonest with us, and unacceptable to endanger the health of hotel patrons. Avoid room 202! (By the way, the clerk showed me that the boiler room was directly under this room. Please La Quinta, check this report out for future safety of your guests!

Lacrosse Tournament Sports Competition nearby. Left my wallet in the room and they held for me at front desk. Honest and friendly staff at this location. Room was clean and tidy. Very satisfied with all aspects of this stay. I am a Marriott Titanium member, but no nearby Marriott available. This would be equivlant to a clean Courtyard or Hampton Inn

Nice Suites Easy access hotel for Calvert Park and Live Love LAX tourney. Nice suite setup for a family and easy breakfast. Good amount of room in suites and decent gym for a Peloton workout. Nice people at front counter and easy check in and checkout. Location is off highway without a ton of restaurants but a short drive to amenities.

Not the greatest at this hotel. These rooms are in need of renovation. A lot of minor stuff. Breakfast was fine a couple of extra items like eggs and sausage and the regular stuff. We have stayed here many times in the pre and post Wyndham time and can tell that the place has taken many cutbacks and deterioted. We travelled with our pet Molly. The room was cleaned adequately but smelled pretty bad even the Fabreeze I had with me didn't help. I paid $50 for the dog and did complain about the room when we checked out. I told her that I don't mind paying for the dog if the money is put back into the rooms and that I could find a cleaner room for almost $200. a night with the fee. She was very surly and said "Well you should do that then". Wow
