Best Western Plus Harrisburg Mechanicsburg

Great inexpensive motel Professional and friendly staff, GREAT PRICE, clean well maintained rooms, and good breakfast. The best check-in experience in recent history. Bed was very good. I was given a choice of floors at check-in which is unusual in my experience. Since we travel through this area frequently, this will be our go-to place to stay.

Overnight stay in Harrisburg Area The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the internet was fast. We were traveling with our dog and were thankful that the pet fee was reasonable. The hotel was crowded, so there was a lot of noise, but things started to quiet down after 9pm. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay.

Nice hotel Front desk staff was awesome. Room was clean and very quiet. Breakfast was also good. Really nice place to stay. My family went to Hershey park for the weekend and this hotel was just what we asked for. Pool was nice and clean. No loudness or anything.

Okay but with some issues Overall my stay was good, beds were comfortable (more so than most hotels), and the breakfast offered more hot items than most (biscuits and gravy, southwest omelet, sausage, etc.), but I had 2 (for me) fairly major issues. The first is while I was outside shaking out my cat's blanket and kennel to get it ready to leave the next day, two of the female staff came out and were just watching me, one just holding open the side door and the other one came out to stand on the other side of me. Then the one holding the door started grilling me (not asking politely like she was someone that liked animals) on information about my cat and made me extremely uncomfortable. I tried to drag out what I was doing hoping that they would go away but they didn't. Second issue I had was that I didn't find out until a day into my stay that the refrigerator in the room wasn't even plugged in and it took moving a very large and very heavy piece of furniture to even get to the cord to plug it back in, it was very obvious with the set up, that someone had to have intentionally unplugged the unit and that the plug didn't just "fall out." If you don't want to pay for the electricity for amenities offered, then don't offer the amenities. Even after plugging it back in, it didn't cool off enough to chill the items I had stored in it. So while this stay has not put me off from using Best Western, I probably would avoid staying at this particular location again.

VeryFine hotel We were surprised how nice this hotel is. What we saw was very ckean and ungraded, the desk staffe was helpful and the breakfast was better than we expected.
