Super 8 by Wyndham Findlay

Lots of room for improvement As a one-time Red Roof property this place has rooms that are a little bigger and nicer than some budget motels, and good construction so you don’t hear much sound from adjacent rooms or outside the building. I like having the sink separate from the toilet/shower, another Red Roof feature. My room had a desk with a lamp and office-type chair, great for reading or watching TV. That lamp had plugs and a usb outlet for charging devices. And things pretty much worked. The location is convenient, with a grocery across the parking lot and restaurants within easy walking distance. Still, there were issues. No outlets next to the bed, so unless you happened to pack an extension cord you can’t have your phone or tablet charging close at hand. Towels are thin, sheets are on the rough side. The wall-mounted reading lamps looked like they held 2 bulbs but only one was lit. The bathtub faucet dripped. And the floor was dirty, leaving my feet black. It’s not all that bad for the price, if you just need to crash for a night and move on, but would not be my first choice.

Comfy stay The rooms were cozy, staff was very friendly. Liked their environment and ambience. They served a high quality and tasty breakfast which was very satisfactory. I wish I will visit this place again!!!!!!!

On way way to Canada, Had a Hidden Gem Hotel This is the finest Super 8 I have ever stayed at. I'm at hotels about 200 nights per year. I chose this location as it was the closest hotel to Canada. I was greeted by Edgar at the front desk who checked me in promptly and let me know that the manager had offered me an upgrade due to my status with Wyndham Hotels. Edgar also gave me the lay of the land for Findlay as this was my first time here. All the front desk employees have been great as I've extended my stay twice! I opened the door to my room and was taken in by the size and quality of the suite. It even had a whirlpool. The whirlpool is beautiful and right outside my door. At breakfast the next morning I was surprised to find Chef Jubina preparing scramble Eggs and Sausages and which I had both. Both were amazing and a great way to start the day. She is an artist! I'm looking forward to coming back in September for everything here.

Super stay with Super 8 I recently stayed at the Super 8 Hotel and had a fantastic experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, offering a good variety of options. I appreciated the convenient location, making it easy to access nearby attractions. Overall, a great value for the price – I would definitely stay here again!
