A Fun, Comfortable Family Getaway at Great Wolf Lodge Fitchburg We had such a wonderful stay at Great Wolf Lodge in Fitchburg, MA! It was the perfect mix of kid fun and parent relaxation — something that’s not easy to find. Our room was spacious, spotless, and filled with playful touches that made it feel special. The kids were finally old enough to explore a little bit on their own, which gave us a chance to relax without worrying. We really appreciated the quiet hours at night — no little feet running up and down the halls early in the morning or late at night! The food was fantastic, and having a bar by the pool was a great perk for parents. The water park was clean and well-maintained, and I was so impressed with how attentive and professional the lifeguards were. There’s honestly almost too much to do — from the water slides to the games to the adorable nightly story time with the lodge characters. If you have older kids, I highly recommend checking out MagiQuest, the live-action adventure game that runs throughout the lodge. It’s such a fun, magical experience and gives kids a sense of independence while still keeping them safely entertained. A few tips: Check the daily activity schedule when you arrive so you don’t miss story time or other events. Start your water park day early to beat the crowds. Plan a little downtime in your room — you’ll need it! Bring snacks if your kids are picky, even though the on-site food was excellent. Overall, this was one of those family trips that checked every box — fun, clean, comfortable, and full of happy memories. We left with tired, smiling kids and a plan to come back again soon. Check their site for their packages and passes that allow families to further enhance their stay while also saving money. It is a great one-stop shop for a weekend getaway!

Over rated and overpriced What has happened? We came 2 years ago and it was great. Checked in yesterday to find that they now charge $19 a day for parking in the middle of nowhere with a huge lot that will never fill up. Also have an upgraded room with no microwave. $300 a night and you have to go to the vending area to use a microwave that is small and dirty. How unhygienic. These upgraded rooms are not sound proof at all. It sounded like a herd of buffalo were in the halls all night and doors slamming at all hours. Sure I like my room to be pretty but being able to sleep is really what the goal should be. The staff were friendly and activities helped but we will not be returning.

“Dirty Room, No Cleaning, and Terrible Service experience we have ever had. From the very first day, the moment we entered the room, the floor was sticky and impossible to walk on, and the room had a terrible smell. We had to ask several times for someone to come clean the floor just so we could move around, and we sprayed a lot of air freshener ourselves to try to cover the awful odor that filled the room. For four days we begged for our room to be cleaned. The trash cans were overflowing, with no place left to throw garbage. The room became filthy because of the kids, and everything started to smell. We repeatedly asked, several times a day, for someone to empty the bins, cleanthe room, and so on — but nothing happened. There isn’t even a toilet brush in the room, so we had to go out and buy one ourselves just to be able to clean the bathroom after the kids used it. At this point, we don’t even mind reusing old towels, but there’s literally nowhere in the room to hang them when they’re wet. It is simply impossible to stay in the room anymore. We’ve been forced to buy our own cleaning supplies, carry the trash bags through the hotel and empty them ourselves, and essentially act as the housekeeping staff — constantly dealing with it throughout the day because the hotel doesn’t provide the service.

Don't waste your money here Don't eat the food! It made me and my family sick. It was also way overpriced. We rented a cabana and the tv didn't work and there were stains all over the couch. The supervisor i had mentioned it to told us to just flip it over. For $300, that was not the answer I was expecting. They charge $20 to park per night. This place is a rip off and not worth the money. We spent well over $1000 for just a 2 night stay. We'll never be back!

great weekend with the kids! We had an amazing time at Great Wolf Lodge Fitchburg with our 10- and 12-year-old kids! The water park, activities, and atmosphere made for such a fun getaway. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we felt taken care of the whole time. A special thanks to Tessa for going above and beyond to make our stay extra special — her kindness and attention made a big difference. We can’t wait to come back! Kathy
