Baconstay The hotel itself is pretty outdated but it’s the best option in the area. Check in was smooth and quick I love that , Room was clean and tidy breakfast was great !! It was bacon day my FAV !!! my only issue was the overly aggressive manager lady who tried to fight the poor breakfast girl over bacon ! Me and a few other guests watched her storm into the breakfast room and demand more bacon while clearly she was already cleaning up ! I know that the staff is supposed to treat the guests nicely but maybe they should practice on eachother as well??! Other than that I had a good stay.

Best in the Area My mother and I stayed 3 nights and it was probably the best hotel in the Forest area, but it's certainly not to the standard of other Holiday Inn Express Hotels. The staff were all very friendly and professional. The hotel rooms are VERY dated and in desperate need of cosmetic repairs and modernizing. There must have been a hot water regulator on the shower faucet because the shower water barely went beyond lukewarm, but sink water got really hot. The room and bathroom was clean for the most part. Routine surface cleaning was done but some spring cleaning or deep cleaning is needed. The bathroom vent fan was caked in dust and the top of the bathroom sink backsplash and caulking was really dirty. Someone had recently smoked in the room. I'm not sure if it was prior customers or someone cleaning the room, but the bed pillows smelled like cigarette smoke. It wasn't a terrible stay, but paying $105.00 a night, I think the owner needs to modernize the hotel or drop the room rate.

The best of the area Spent the weekend here with a friend and we brought along her 4 year old child. We stayed here because all of the better places to stay in the Philadelphia area were full and we wanted to enjoy Saturday at the Geyser Water Park. Well pleased with our choice and being close to the interstate so would be an easy ride home. We were greeted and welcomed by a friendly staff. Check in was easy and pleasant. The hotel lobby was closed due to an uprise of Covid in the area although it was very clean. Restrooms were clean. Elevator worked properly and was clean. The grounds were well landscaped and free of trash. Plenty of parking in a well lit parking lot. We felt safe the entire time. Our room was spacious, clean and the water pressure is amazing! A huge plus to me is plenty of pressure and hot water. We had toilet tissue but there wasnt an extra roll so we called the front desk and asked for some. We were told since no housekeeping that late we would need to come and get. About 30 mins had passed and we had not gone to get yet....the front desk lady was knocking at the door with tissue in hand! Awesome! We told her we were coming, but she politely said she had to bring towels to another guest so went ahead and brought. Neither my friend nor myself could figure the toilet paper holder out, but provided us both with a laugh. The beds were comfortable but are really due for an upgrade although I have slept on worst and they werent unbearable. In the bathroom there were a few little things that need attention but I am sure due to Covid that has slowed things down. One small area by the bathtub was decaying and needs repair,,.and the back of the door is losing it's finish but I can assure you that is because of the constant wiping down with cleaners and sanitizers. The products for guest use are great! If I had to complain about anything it is that there is never enough sugar when making your coffee. The packets they use has the napkin, stirrer, ONE sugar, two artificial sweeteners and one creamer. Most sugar users need 2-4 packets. First thing in the morning the last thing I want to do is go to the lobby to hunt down extra sugar for the coffee I need to get started. I usually travel with my own extra but not always. The use the best coffee in the rooms, another plus. Mini fridge worked great. Let me just say....take the time and enjoy their complimentary breakfast. It is the best!!! I am a lover of biscuits and gravy, whether home made or not and theirs is delicious. The cinnamon rolls are amazing. And again, let me just say the staff were ALL SUPER friendly and genuine. The pool looked wonderful and refreshing but was closed due to Covid, my only disappointment since we had a child. Location is perfect. Right off of Interstate, next to gas station, donut shop, WalMart and several fast food eateries. Thanks to all at HIE for making our weekend getaway a wonderful one.

Perfect overnight stay while passing through While traveling through Mississippi, we used this as an overnight stay. We booked through Hotels.com last minute as we were not sure how far we would be driving. We arrived late and had no problems checking in. Front desk staff was very friendly. We got settled in the room and were blown away at the comfort of the beds. Over a 10 night trip with 4 different hotels, this was by far the most comfortable. Room was extremely clean. We passed on breakfast when our traveling companions mentioned that it was ok but nothing spectacular. The biggest issue with it was that you had to order the food and then take it back to your room. With no where to spread 4 people out in the room, we just got back on the road. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyway staying in the area.
