Evelyn is Awesome!!! Absolutely Incredible Stay at the Sonesta Fort Lauderdale! From the moment we arrived, our experience at the Sonesta was nothing short of amazing — and that’s all thanks to Evelyn, the guest services concierge! She truly made our trip unforgettable. Evelyn greeted us with such warmth and genuine enthusiasm that we instantly felt like family. She took the time to get to know us, asked thoughtful questions, and made sure we had everything we needed to make the most of our stay. Her energy was contagious, and it set the tone for the rest of our visit. We actually made a point to go see her again the next morning — and even stopped by after breakfast just to chat! That’s how special she made us feel. You don’t often meet someone who goes so far above and beyond to connect with guests on a personal level. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and perfectly located, but Evelyn was truly the highlight of our stay. If you’re planning to visit Fort Lauderdale, stay at the Sonesta and make sure you meet Evelyn — she’s the heart of the hotel!

Evelyn is Amazing! The Hotel is great too The Sonesta hotel was a wonderful experience. Lots of cute shops very close and the beach is right across the street. Hands down the best part of the experience was Evelyn who worked at the desk. She is lively and has wonderful recommendations. We will be back again if for no reason other than her!

Amazing service Carlos was fantastic helping with our valet service . The entire valet crew was amazing as well. They had fantastic recommendations for anything you needed. They also were very kind and curtious. Fast service as well.

You Gotta Meet Rueben! Only on the best trips can you go away and meet the guy that notices what you need, remembers your story and always offers additional help. Ruben was our person. He handled our chair and umbrella rentals. Each time he gave great service with charm and a cheerful smile. We remembered him and he remembered us every time we hit the beach. Excellent customer service is hard to come by nowadays, so when you get it, it’s important to acknowledge it. The next time you’re in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on the beach, you gotta meet Ruben. The Place to be with family From the moment I began planning my stay, the experience was exceptional. Heydie Maldonado, the Reservations Manager, was incredibly helpful and prompt in assisting with room blocks via email. Her support truly set the tone before I even arrived. Upon check-in, Shenoya and Rosa greeted me warmly and made the process seamless. When I needed to switch rooms to accommodate my mom’s mobility, Shenoya personally came up, showed us an alternative room, and made sure we were comfortable before making the change. Her care and attention meant a lot. This wasn’t my first time at the property, and it was heartwarming to see that Shenoya remembered my entire family as soon as we walked in. Breakfast was a delight each morning, thanks to the wonderful servers: Kushboo, Monica, and Cory, who all provided excellent service. Felix, the restaurant manager, is always smiling and truly embodies the spirit of leadership and hospitality. At the front desk, Ms. Evelin is the heart and soul of the team. She connects with guests in such a genuine way. I especially appreciated our conversations, and my children adored her—she treated them like her own grandbabies, and they would go to the lobby just to find her. Ron, the Security Manager, was also incredibly helpful and kind throughout our stay. Our room was cleaned daily by different housekeepers, each of whom did a fantastic job. I wish I had caught all their names to thank them personally. Overall, this stay was filled with warmth, care, and outstanding service from start to finish.
