The Domicil Hotel Frankfurt City

My Visit The quality of the hotel falls into the average for a 3-star standard. The location is near the train station, so convenient but the surround does not look safe. The room is not large. The service is helpful. There are some things to be improved. But the price is not high.

Good place to stay Close to the station double glazed windows make it very quiet Staff very good and obliging issue with hot water first morning but quickly resolved by the use of another room Reception provided a kettle on request and bag storage after check out is a bonus

Disgusting hotel The hotel is a brothel. Beds are broken and the management are not interested in assisting their patrons. No concession made, no assistance given! Booking prepaid in full for 8 nights, but not a single night spent there. Hotel management refuse to refund, even a 50% refund would have gone a long way in customer service

Worst ever hotel in the worst area of Frankfurt I booked a room there without really paying attention, to attend Frankfurt Messe - such an error, as once arrived on site we quickly understood why it was a bit cheaper than other accomodations. Hotel is located in the worst street of Frankfurt : to access the hotel you will have to walk between junkies laying on the floor with needles in the arm, prostitutes and aggressive peoples. Then, the room was small, bed not confortable, and a lot of noise from the street - no wonder we spent really bad nights ! Breakfast was great though. And now comes THE WORST PART, we were charged TWO TIMES for the same room !!! Because of a check-in error of the hotel and a misunderstanding of the receptionnist - we booked via Booking.com, and room was already charged by the hotel while it was supposed to be paid on site - what we did as planned. I noticed that too late, and then tried to make a claim via Booking but was refused by the hotel, which btw had notified me as "no show", while my name was clearly written on the check-in documents. True nightmare, really a hotel to avoid.

Tried scamming me twice! Told me i had broke the bed when it in-fact the leg just needed to be screwed back in, its almost like the cleaner had loosened it to try and keep the deposit.. for a hotel that size a simple small thing as a loose bed leg should be a quick fix. Then they tried keeping my deposit as I didn’t keep the receipt, even though the money was labelled with my name
