Step back in time of the 1980's After one steps through the bird poop (management is more concerned about the welfare of a birds nest above the front door than they are of the first impression of their customers) on the front door one will experience the grandeur of stained carpets and dirty corners. The elevator carpet was disgusting and the hotel reminds you of 1982 style. The room just looked dirty and dated. We will never stay there again.

Couldn't have been more pleased with our room and stay. My husband and I were so pleased with our room and one night stay. We arrived before 3:00 and our room wasn't ready but that was fine. We were just waiting in the lobby and in a few minutes they said they had another room for us. That was awfully nice of them. We booked a regular 2 queen room and walked in to what was a two room suite, with sitting area and TV, coffee area with sink, and separate sleeping area with TV. The bathroom was so clean. I appreciated the remote control covered in plastic. How smart! We booked our room through Trip Advisor/More Rooms and got a fantastic rate! I don't even know how. We really appreciated the fact that the hotel had a strict 10pm no-noise policy. The breakfast was very good with scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage, make your own waffles, plus all the traditional breakfast things you see at most other hotels. The staff was all very nice.

Four Score and Seven years ago President Lincoln didnt have the Country Inn and Suites ! Stayed here for the weekend while visiting Gettysburg. This hotel is situated a couple miles from the main streets of Gettysburg and adjacent to a nice outlet mall and TGIFridays . The room was clean as was the bathroom. Mattresses were more firm . The breakfast area was spacious and the free continental breakfast had a variety of options both hot and cold. The hotel did feature a indoor pool , hot tub and fitness room. The pool was cooler than we like but hot tub was nice. Staff was friendly. Price off season and with a AAA discount was higher than I would like to have paid but this is a touristy area. Would recommend this hotel to travelers unless you want to stay within walking distance of Gettysburg attractions.

Go Elsewhere This property is typical old style built many years ago Country Inn & Suites. The exterior has that nice “country look” and then you step inside your room and experience that full blast of 1980s decor. The suite is very crowded with old furniture. The two TVs are both very small with remotes that only work when they want to. The bathroom is very small with an old style tub with shower curtain. The bath towels are so old and small that they need to just be discarded. Just horrible quality. The pull out couch looked so disgusting that I would not ever pull it out and let any friend or family of mine sleep on it! So basically, I would never recommend this property when there are so many other great options in the Gettysburg tourism area!
