wedding anniversary The nicest Hampton we have stayed at!! Large comfortable king suite. VERY friendly staff! It has a large breakfast area and entire place clean. It even had an outside sitting area under trees We enjoyed that very much. Very close to eateries and downtown. Close to attractions. They also had cookies at night.

Great place to stay in Gettysburg. Very nice Hampton Inn. Very clean facility and a friendly staff. The best part was the room ac was wonderful and cold, which was very good for this past week as it was close to 100 degrees outside. Breakfast was nice and plentiful as well. Great location. Very happy with our stay.

Average stay and high nightly rate. This was an average stay for Hampton Inn. It was very clean and the staff were very friendly. As this was memorial day weekend the rates were inflated however I don't think the rate reflects the quality, even when staying on non-peak days. We stayed for a soccer tournament. The location was perfect for a quick trip to the fields and back, only about a 5 minute drive. Walmart directly behind the hotel, and shops and restaurants across the street. It's about a 15 minute drive to the Gettysburg battlefields. I stay at Hampton inn's pretty exclusively. This one did have some issues with the room. The rooms are relatively small compared to other Hamptons, with bags and sports items and 2 adults and 2 teenagers it was a tight fit. The shower had old fixtures and didn't fully switch from tub to shower so the pressure was a little off and wasted a ton of water. The beds were very firm. They did not have medium or dark roast coffee, only light or decaf. The cookies were all oatmeal raisin, they still tasted great however would've enjoyed a variety. The breakfast was pretty great with good options. The pool was a good size/depth and clean, but the hot tub was barely hot, probably because it's used as a kiddie pool by most parents. There was a lot of street noise, not much from inside the hotel but the traffic outside and people showing off their engines was quite loud as I chose a street side room and definitely should've chose one with a parking lot view. The one small window had the loudest curtain when raising it up and down. There was a small desk that was beside a bed so not much room to spread out. We had gotten take out and had to eat in the bed. They also had very ineffective luggage carts. They were a small triangle shape which makes for interesting arrangement of bags. I don't know that if I find myself in Gettysburg again, that I would stay here or try a different hotel. It was not worth the rate and other hotels had much better rates. It pains me to say that as I prefer Hampton Inn and pay a higher rate over other hotels because it is usually a quality place.

Great stay at a great location! Our one night stay was absolutely amazing. We travelled to Gettysburg to tour the battlefield and our stay was short and sweet! The welcome we received at the reception desk from Stephanie was exceptional and she went above and beyond to make us feel at home. She told us where we could go get a nice steak dinner, which is what we were looking for. She also gave us a map on things to do around town which was a nice touch. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable and the hotel is conveniently located and easily accessible. The warm cookies in the lobby were such a delight! I recommend it and I would definitely stay here again.

A great place for rest Great place to rest. The staff was awesome. Breakfast was hot and great. They know how to make oatmeal. It was not paste. It was not far from the Gettysburg business center, so you could go and then come back and rest. They had a swim meet and a gymnastic meet in the area, but still was able to give 1st rate service.I will go back. If you are a couple and want an awesome room, get the whirlpool room with king bed.
