Best Western Plus Denver West/Golden

Fix the TV and the stay will be amazing.... The room was good for the 4 nights we stayed. Rooms were cleaned when requested, housekeeping did a wonderful job, but rooms were a little small and snug but good. Breakfast was good, plenty of bacon to go around, fresh fruits, waffles and milk for the kiddos. The pool was closed for 2 days, our kids wanted to go swimming, we had to have another ways to keep them occupied. The TV, some channels did not work, we love watched the news in the morning and the ABC channel did not work, also the volume on the TV. (i know, i know your on vacation...why watch tv? or just go to the pool right?) but the news starts our day and the pool, usually ends our nights. The staff did a great job accommodating us for 4 days. There does seem to be new paint on the doors, so you have to make sure the door closes when leaving. It was overall good and with a $25 deposit fee. We as a family would stay again, only if they fix the tv situation. Also the parking lot was good and safe, friendly staff and other visitors. The mall is right across the street, nice restaurant nearby and the stadium is a few minutes away.

Alarm clock at 6am preset We stayed in two different rooms and the rooms alarm clock went off at 6am in both rooms. We were having van trouble and they would not let us check out one hour later to get that taken care of and shower after. The rooms were dirty and the internet couldn’t even stream a show, or download a browser.

Poor service We have stayed here several times, and had good experiences until now. This time, the desk staff were rude, the breakfast offerings were low or empty, and the pool opened an hour late. We also had a range of issues with our key card.

Zero Star Motel Website states that the rooms have cable or satellite TV. They do not. You're lucky to get a snowy/static local channel. Room had no hand or body soap. Went to the desk to ask for soap. They did not have any and had to wait an hour for them to find some. We also discovered that the toilet was clogged. We had not used it yet, so it had to have been like that when the room was cleaned. Was told they would call maintenance but no one ever came, no phone call or any response at all. After another hour passed I went back down to the desk and asked about the issue. The girl at the desk replied I'm sorry there is no maintenance on site. You will have to wait until the morning. She did not offer any type resolution other than I'm sorry you're out of luck. I had to request another room. We then had to pack our things and move to another floor in the middle of the night. The room that was offered had no working TV, nothing but static on every channel and the comforter had stains all over it. No compensation or anything was offered for the total lack of service. I will never stay at another Best Western again.

Great stay and location Good location to the Mills and close to I-70 for business trips as well. Will book again. Walking distance to all needs,
