Comfort Inn Grand Junction I-70

Price gouging; 180 for one queen bed room. Why, because there was a big event in town. Weary travelers; too bad. TV didn’t work. Refrigerator didn’t work. The handicap chair in the shower had mold on it. There was a big event in town and everyone was booked up. However we were traveling and couldn’t drive anymore so we had to take what we could get. 180.00 for a single Queen bed with basic needs like a fridge and tv broken. Wow! Comfort inn you need to hold your franchises accountable.

Basic and clean Not quite up to date . Toilet is close to floor. Good parking. Attendant was courteous and helpful. Close to food and fuel. Clean. Unfortunately many hotels today are out of date even though clean. Room for truck and trailer, RV, and more in rear. ,they will take all dog sizes.

So much for new carpet and fresh paint- reeked of dog pee Unable to register for stay 2x get 1 free promo. Site won’t let me register, or sign up. Says I already have an account but then can’t find it when I input the email. Honestly, I’m very disappointed in this stay. We choose comfort inn because it’s usually nice, quiet and clean. The website touted how the pool and hot tub were back up and running after being renovated as were their rooms with new carpet and fresh paint. Our room’s carpet reeked of dog pee and the wall paper in the bathroom is peeling from the wall and there was paint chips and cracks in both the pool and hot tub (that looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned or appropriately maintained chemically in months)All night, all we heard were people running up and down the halls - called the front desk a few times as did other guests- and they said they would take care of it but it still kept on. I have never been so dissatisfied with a stay at a choice hotel in my life.

Will stay again! This property is located right off I-90 and Horizon Drive near the Grand Junction Airport. Easy parking (even for large vehicles) quick & professional check-in, nice clean rooms, ample breakfast. It’s a great, solid choice in GJ. Will stay here again.

Room has mold - CS has no resolution We stayed here for 2 nights to the tune of $450 including tax. Went to front desk to let them know that the faucet was leaking. Guy was polite and said someone would fix the next day, but no-one ever came. After spending more time in the room noticed the bathroom had a weird smell. Saw that the wallpaper next to tub was loose so looked behind it and you can see black mold. All around the tub was also moldy looking. When sitting in the chair I looked down at the bed skirt/box spring covering and could see some nasty looking stains. Super grossed out. The first night we asked if we could switch rooms but the guy told me they were sold out. Upon check out, presented pics to desk clerk. No manager was on duty so she said she would have someone call me. Just now a couple days later I am home and get the call. The manager told me she could not further discount my room because I got an AARP discount. I'm not sure if that is true or not because our receipt does not reflect that, but I said that has nothing to do with the filthy condition of the room and she says well I can't discount you but she thanked me for bringing to their attention so they could fix the problem. I told her alright then....this will be reflected in my yelp reveiw. She says ok and thanks again. I guess she does not care if I post the pics from the room....so here they are. Stay here at your own risk!
