Hilton Garden Inn Kent Island Marina

Decent stay in Maryland as stopover on a longer trip Heading to Florida by Auto Train and driving via the DelMarVa peninsula, this hotel was a good place to stop for a night before completing my drive to Virginia the next day. As a Hilton Honors Diamond member I enjoy staying at different properties across the portfolio. As is customary, I did the online check-in via the app and chose my room the day before arrival. I decided that since they were offered, I chose a room with whirlpool tub and a balcony. While it was a bit too cool outside to use the balcony, I enjoyed the in-room whirlpool as therapy for my back. I arrived just after the earliest allowed check-in time. I had not yet received a Digital Key, so I had to stop first at the desk. The man at the desk originally told me the chosen room was not yet ready. He made a phone call, I believe to housekeeping, and found out it was indeed ready for me. So somebody dropped the ball in releasing the room. I found the room to be amply sized, no problems finding room for my belongings. Bathroom was a little short on space considering the size of the room. The balcony got little use because of the weather, but I did sit out there a few minutes. TV, Wifi, and climate control worked well. The whirlpool was comfortable, but one nit I had was that the steam set off my room's smoke alarm. The presence of a balcony door allowed me to open up and dissipate the steam. Perhaps the alarm should not be so close to the source of steam. Sleep was well, and I was refreshed to continue my travels the next morning.

Most Beautiful Views on Kent Island Found, Here!!! The Hilton Garden Inn at Kent Island Marina was a great hotel!! Comfortable, convenient, and a great value, we truly enjoyed our stay!! The staff was wonderful, with great suggestions for nearby dining! The view from our balcony was spectacular, and I felt completely spoiled!!! I got up to watch the sunrise, and relaxed with a glass of wine and a book, while waiting for my husband, and family to get ready for dinner. Additionally, right next door, and safely walkable, was the Jetty for cocktails and fun!!! So many terrific places for seafood!! Lots of trails to walk!!!

Ready for Insomnia? The music at the Jetty (next door) is so loud it’s as if we left our window open. I talked to front desk and they said they would call The Jetty (again) but that hasn’t done a lick of good. I called the sherrif’s department and was told there is no noise ordinance in the county. I find that very hard to believe. If you want sleep, DON’T stay here!!!!

Love this hotel! 10/10 Well, this hotel is just the best. It’s reasonably priced. Got a room for $137. It’s right on the water and most of this not all rooms have balconies. Tim at the front desk is so kind and patient. He upgraded us to a beautiful suite. Everything is spotless. The shopping outlets are right around the corner, where everything is 50% off at least. Great crab restaurants and bars within walking distance. I’ve been all over the world, but this is surely one of my favorite places to stay. Love it!

Nice Watefront Location Pretty standard Hilton Garden Inn but with an excellent waterfront location within immediate walking distance of several good seafood places. The breakfast is overpriced for what you get and try to get a room that is positioned more towards the water than the parking lot and "The Jetty" which can get rowdy at night. Regardless, I would recommend it if in the area though and would stay here again.
