Enjoyable stay Easy access from I-35. Friendly staff at the front desk. Hotel was very clean and smelled pleasant. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of extra linens in the closet. Plenty of towels and wash clothes in the bathroom. Breakfast had a nice selection of items. Coffee always available in the lobby. Will stay here again.

Hotel Sleep Inn Hewitt Overall very disappointed would not recommend this hotel. 1. No room Service 2. No clean linens we had to take towels down to front desk to be exchanged daily 3. Coffee supplies not refilled 4. Parking was full one night we had to park in the neighboring business parking lot. 5. Advertised breakfast was packaged muffins 6. Bathroom shower stall floor was not clean and very slippery. We have traveled worldwide and all over the United States , this by far was a very disappointing stay. Again, I would not recommend this hotel

Rude desk, weird breakfast, Ok room I arrived to find the fellow at the front desk (I'll describe him since I don't have his name: heavyset, male, short dark hair with blonde curly highlights) so miserable looking that he made me feel depressed by default. He was totally unresponsive with no expressions or barely speaking. I tried to be cheerful and was met with absolutely miserable indifference and just... you do not want this guy at your front desk!!!! Trust me. He depresses people just checking in. I then made sure this was a "hearing accessible" room as I am hard of hearing. He mumbled and refused to enunciate during the whole check in process. Then he turned his back to me and said something. Turned around and looked at me. I was blank. I had no clue he said anything. He then said, "Yes." and handed me something and got on his computer again. Hello? Hearing Accessible? I kept asking him and he wouldn't listen, just mumbled on. "Hearing accessible" means the person cannot hear. You need to speak up and enunciate. Nope. He would not do it. Refused. I was so polite and cheerful. Mr. Miserable wouldn't snap out of it. Maybe he was totally stoned, who knows. Breakfast was standard waffles, muffins and Jimmy Dean sausages, which everyone had to wait in line to microwave. Try waiting in line to microwave with 6 people standing there. Milk was gone almost instantly. The room was ok. Nothing special, just ok. A bed, a desk, a bathroom. That's all you need. There are zero USB ports, including the one on the back of the TV being switched to something else. So bring USB stuff with you. A/C wasn't that great, but I survived. Avoid. Just avoid.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Unresponsive, obtuse, inconsiderate I made a reservation to stay here for two nights April 22 and 23 leaving 24th. We had an unexpected death in the family (grandmother). The problem was she didn't die within the timeframe to satisfy the hotel cancelation policy. See she passed away 24 hours before my trip, not 48 hours before. I paid 32,000 points with my Choice hotel account when I reserved the room. I called to cancel 24 hours before, as soon as I could gather myself. The hotel marked me as a NO SHOW and put the blame on Choice Hotels that they needed to refund my points. Choice owns Sleep Inn so now no one from the hotel will answer the phone to change the status in order to refund my points. Choice finally offered to refund half my points. Serious case of adding insult to injury AND PASSING THE RESPONSIBILITY. Sleep Inn is inconsiderate and policy driven and unresponsive. And they can't spell my name correctly so the list continues. This is the cancellation email: Thursday, April 21, 2022 Hello Renee Gonora, We are sorry you will not be staying with us on Friday, April 22, 2022 to Sunday, Apil 24, 2022. Your reservation was cancelled on Thursday, April 21,2022 by front desk attendent. If you wish to make another reservatin at this hotel, please call (254) 420-3200; or to make reservations at other Sleep Inn & Suites Hotels, please call (800) SLEEP INN. We look foward to you staying at our property in the future as we hope we will have another opportunity to serve you. sincerely, Stephanie Front Desk attendent

Watch your credit card I checked out in person, was handed a receipt for the proper amount, then about an hour later I received an email bill adding another $115 for a "noise complaint." I immediately called and was told that my neighbor said I was screaming and slamming the bathroom door all night. When I asked why no one came to talk to us to verify, the staff person said she tried calling and knocking on our door and we didn't answer so that was verification that was us. What the heck kind of sense does that make?! And when I asked to speak to the manager I was told he wasn't in the until the next day. To his credit he did call me right away the next day, refunded my money, and said it would be used as a learning experience for staff on how to handle it better. So I appreciate that. However, I recalled as I was checking in that another staff person was talking to a couple and they were apparently protesting some charge on their credit card as the staff member said she would refund the charge. So I would worry they have a larger issue with charging credit cards inappropriately and would not risk staying there again.
