Comfort Inn Huntington Near University

Great Stay!! Ian was very friendly at the front desk. The hotel was very clean and our room was wonderful.Beds were comfy and the room and bathroom were very clean. Room 241 was very quiet. We didn’t partake in their breakfast because we were in a hurry but it looked good. It had lots of choices.

Decent Place Rude staff Comfort Inn Huntington was a so-so experience. The room was average, nothing to write home about. The highlight (or lowlight) was Ken, the morning worker—rude and not the wake-up call I needed. Hopefully, they can upgrade their hospitality game.

A nice play to stay while in town. This was a really nice place to stay while on my trip. It's in a college town, so I was expecting the prices to be a little high, I and wasn't disappointed. ($150 for the night.) However, it was quiet, clean and the staff were very friendly. their breakfast was really good and they do have a pool available and I believe there is also a small weightroom.

Do NOT stay here This was by far a terrible experience. My wife and I were traveling for the weekend to attend a concert in a nearby town. The first impression of the property was not a good one. There was a pickup truck with a smacked windshield working on a rusted out Camero. The lobby was basic and so was the pool. The room was ok. The AC rattled and made terrible noises. The couple in the room above us engaged in “adult “ activities at 1 am, 6 am and 8 am. The ceiling was pounding like someone was playing the drums. I did say something to hotel staff at 1:30 am but, no good came of it. On our way to breakfast my wife stopped at the desk to see if we could switch rooms. She was greeted rudely with “Do you need something?” by the guy at the desk. His attitude was very unprofessional and basically said there was not that could be done. When my wife asked about checking out and getting a refund he said he couldn’t do anything and to call the company we booked through. My wife spoke with a very friendly person at Booking. Com and we received a refund for the second night. Before we left my wife stopped agin at the desk to make sure we would not be charged for a second night. The guy again was rude and said “They (Booking.com) called me.” Luckily we got a room same day at the Holiday Inn Express in Wabash, IN. The “Comfort” Inn is not what they advertise and is not worth spending your money on.

Great location, clean, friendly service The room was clean and comfortable. All amenities that we needed for the night were there. It was a quiet environment in a convenient location. Would stay here again if in the area. Very friendly service also.
