Holiday Inn Express North Palm Beach-Oceanview by IHG

Not clean - we canceled and left. We stayed at this property 5 years ago and while it wasn't spectacular, it was okay and in a location that worked for us, so thought we would give it another try. Yikes! Lobby looked a little shabby and some guy was sleeping (like camping!) on the couch by the small check-in desk. Our room was kind of dingy-looking and had a weird bathroom set-up. It appeared to be an accessible room; not sure why we were given that, as we made the reservation some time ago. But when we pulled back the bed cover and saw hair in the sheets - that was it - they had no other rooms available, so we canceled and left. At least they didn't give us a hard time about that - said the credit card charge would be reversed - still waiting for that to happen; already contacted the corporate office. It worked out, as we found a much nicer hotel with clean, bright room & nice bathroom for less money (Courtyard by Marriott).

Worst stay ever at an IHG property For an IHG property, you will be extremely disappointed. This was obviously taken over from a prior hotel/property, and is NOT IHG worthy. The front desk people were not friendly or engaging, from the check in to the check out process. The lobby area is separate from the buildings with the rooms (3 different buildings). We stayed in the "updated" building (B). It missed every mark for an IHG property. The room had the newer furniture, but that was as far as it went. The elevators and ice machines were outside of the building, the hallways and balconies were old, and the bathroom was incredibly small. As mentioned, they took over another property and kept the essence of that, rather than trying to make it IHG worthy. Housekeeping was extremely lax, and you never knew when they were going to come by, if at all. One day they did not take out trash, did not replenish towels, another day they just dropped towels off at the front door while were were out, and another day they knocked and handed me the towels - and still wanted me to give them the dirties in the doorway. They did not make up the beds, just pulled up the covers. No cleaning occurred during our stay. The pool, it was a decent size, but it was old. Entry into and out of it was tough (older step height), and you could see cracks in the pool deck. Little attention was paid to the towel supply either. The pool itself was dirty, and the water was extremely cloudy. Parking lot is not a very secure location, and because of the limited outdoor lighting, tree cover, etc. you did not feel safe. Don't even get me started on breakfast! Because it is in another building, you need to go outside, around the pool to get to the lobby/breakfast area. Normally I don't complain about the IHG breakfast offerings - BUT...the food offerings didn't change for 4 days we were there. And what was served was always overcooked to the point of inedible. It never got better. On the last day we went to McDonald's, and it was an improvement over what we were eating at this hotel. I don't like writing reviews like this, because we stay at many IHG properties and like the quality for the cost. But this property SHOULD NOT be an IHG brand property.

Not as Expected. The room and bathroom are cleaned, but everything are old with smelly carpet. This hotel is not a beach front property, about a block or more walking distant from the beach. The nearby beach was ok. we rather drive a little to a much nicer beach areas. Breakfast was ok nothing special. Some staffs were nice and friendly. It was expensive for its location. Best thing about this location was it was closed to the Loggerhead Marinelife Center within walking distant. The turtle rescue was free to enter, but they accept donation and has a good gift shop.

Best hotel stay near Juno Beach Excellent hotel very welcoming our room was newly renovated and the beds were so comfortable. We loved having a balcony overlooking the pool and enjoyed having a swim after our long drive. Breakfast was included and offered a lot of choices, omelettes, pancakes, turkey or pork sausages, toast, cereal, juices and coffee. 5 minute walk to a beautiful sand beach. I wished I had booked a longer stay but look forward to returning to this property again.

Nice staycation! We stayed here 1 night to use a free night that was expiring and we had a great time. It's very close to the beach and walking distance to great restaurants. The room was very spacious and clean and they served a modest free breakfast. I would definitely recommend this to visitors staying in our area.
