Hilton New Orleans Airport

A great bus ride! (Not what you expected to see on a hotel review.) Accommodations were very nice. The bus driver to the airport, Jamaal, was wonderful. Not only competent and polite, he went above and beyond to make our quick trip enjoyable and fun. And he was especially helpful with and sweet to my handicapped daughter.

TOTALLY DISRESPECTFUL Rude staff , except for restaurant, the man at the front desk decided to make jokes about my name, I said nothing , I was in town for my Mother's funeral. the room, was ok as far as it wasn't gross, the sheets looked dingy, the bed was hard, and then in the morning I was told I didn't have a breakfast voucher, which my daughter arranged, I let it go and paid over 40 bucks for a simple breakfast for me and my wife, I went back to my room to shower, standing in the shower water running trying to was and I looked down to see water up to my ankles, I instantly abbreviated the shower, I went to desk after I dressed to complain about everything and they said , did you let us know, I said I'm letting you know now, go check it out , you'll see, well there is no management on site , I was told by the curse desk jockey. hmmm no management on site?? Ladies and gentlemen what is going on in this country , we pay premium prices for less than economy, then staff seems as if they feel entitled to be rude. I'm sorry if you hate your job , perhaps you should move to a real 3rd world country , where you crassness will be you at the top. HILTON, you rank at the bottom for me. I answered your email, and your failure to make any adjustments to my bill or to address your staff is unacceptable, My daughters room the drain worked but the water barely came out of the shower head, Don't accept Less while paying more. DON'T STAY HERE! AGAIN, DON'T STAY HERE!!! OH AND ONE MORE TIME, I was there for my Mother's funeral, thanks for the EXTRA kick in the guts, hilton.

Rude staff Not impressed. First airport shuttle is NOT. 24 hrs. I need to get to the airport by 3 am shuttle not available until after 3:15 despite driver sitting behind desk and being a complete jerk to another family trying to get to the airport. We all took Ubers Great Job pissing off guests Hilton. Second night shift front desk woman extremely rude never spoke just pointed and grunted. Unless she was talking to the shuttle driver. Third basic maintenance not good covers off or hanging from fixtures. Hotel over all was humid and muggy not sure AC was working well. All rooms seem to be adjoining and walls are thin. Would not bother to stay here again.

Clean, Comfortable and Convenient The 24 hour shuttle service makes it worth staying here. We literally walked out of the airport at midnight and the shuttle was waiting for us. Easy check-in. They did give us free water bottles- 1 per person- in a bag. However, no free coffee or water in cups. They do have a "store" though for snacks and drinks. $5 for a small coffee. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. There was Crabtree and Evelyn soap, shampoo and conditioner. There was not free breakfast. There was a lovely dining room- but I'm not sure how much it would have cost. I would indeed stay here again!
