Unique building can mar a stay I am a fan of the Comfort Inn brand and have stayed at perhaps 4 dozen facilities. The cookie cutter approach delivers a nice hot breakfast and comfortable mattress. This faciltiy departs from that formula, with a building with 3 levels for sleeping rooms, but no elevator. The bottom floor is at garden level, i.e. 1/2 a story underground. The middle floor is a bit above ground level and the top level is roughly one story above the middle. The bedding (mattress) seems to have been acquired from a different supplier than the typical Comfort Inn. The result was a couple of rough nights of sleep. The hard working, but perhaps understaffed hotel employees fixed a broken toilet bowl handle promptly. Alas they struggled to keep up with the breakfast rush, running out of various items frequently. Because of a lack of space, if you are an instant oatmeal fan, look for the microwave outside of the breakfast room, down the hall. Bottom line, be aware this is a bit of an outlier from the typical Comfort Inn and suffers from the lack of an elevator. It's OK, but see if any of these quirks change your mind.

Non-smoking doesn't really mean non-smoking I booked a non-smoking room and was met with the smell of cigarettes immediately upon entering. The staff was entirely unhelpful and unable to change or directly refund the booking. I had to go through a lengthy process in order to get my money back as I was unable to stay at the property.

You would be better off sleeping in your car I am a business traveler and I spend over 100 nights a year in hotels. I used to be somewhat brand loyal to Choice properties, but I moved my business to another chain five years ago as the majority of Choice properties seemed to be in decline. As bad as I thought things might get at Choice, this property may be the worst one I have ever stayed at. A Motel 6 may have been a better selection. The property has three floors, one below the lobby level and one above, but no elevator. If you are a senior or you have a haul to bring to your room, this hotel isn’t for you. Once in the room, I was met with a musty stench that smelled a bit like a wet dog. The toilet had a contraption that I have never seen before. Instead of a tank cover, there was a sink with a small faucet present. When you flushed the faucet came on and water poured through the sink drain into the toilet tank. Strange to be sure. The furniture in the room was dated and the mattress had virtually no support. I’m guessing it was at least 15 years old, based on the dips and springs I felt laying on it. There were two televisions in the room, one in the bedroom and one in a living room area. Both were standard definition sets and the set in the bedroom was shot, with lines running through the screen when it was on. Picture quality was a joke, especially if you’re used to a high definition set at home. Internet quality was adequate at best. I discovered in the morning that I had no coffee maker in the room, despite coffer pods being left where the coffee maker should have been. When I went to the front desk and asked for a coffee maker, the agent told me he would “tell housekeeping”. When I asked him to address it at the time, he told me there was nothing he could do. When I mentioned my disappointment in the experience to the agent that checked me out, she responded by saying “OK”, and offered no apology. I can’t discourage anyone enough to avoid this property. It was simply horrible in every conceivable way.

There are better options Very dated property. No elevator to different floors . No wifi working. Musty smell in lower floor. Rooms in need of a refresh. TV options were average at best with poor picture Ask for a room away from the road if you need some quiet time.

Over priced & very tired hotel Stayed at the hotel for six nights . It is currently advertised as having a pool and spar as well as a safe in the room . Well the pool is completely dry of water along with the hot tub and is closed. There is no safe in the room and no lift in the hotel . The breakfast is just about passable but not great . The rooms are not cleaned so unless you ask for cleaning it won’t get done. Within a day of two you waste bin will be full. We were on the ground floor and could hear people above constantly running up and down . The tv reception was poor and the Ariel wasn’t working correctly. Limited staff and unfortunately not that friendly . Unfortunately if you are going to charge getting on for nearly $190 dollars a night it’s unacceptable. I just can’t recommend this hotel .
