Very dated hotel Stayed here for a baseball tournament. They are strict with the check in time, so no need to arrive early. Staff friendly. Hotel is dated, common areas were clean. We stayed in a two queen bed room and it was tiny and musty smelling. The bathroom needed a renovation, dirty grout, shower head had adjustable settings, but none were great, toilet ran all the time. Decor is dark, breakfast average, WiFi would not stay connected. Pool way over chlorinated, eyes burned just walking into the area. In check out morning another baseball family, discovered BED BUGS in their room. Didn’t see any in our room but nonetheless we treated ourselves and items as if we did.

There are some issues, but I still have faith in Hampton Inns. This hotel does show signs of needing updates in the bathroom, and the heating/cooling system is loud. While I may stay here again, my visit was even more concerning when a female guest (at breakfast) was wearing pajama pants and a bra. Not a sports bra, but a regular one. And, no shirt to cover up. The staff was aware of this. I'm not sure what is worse. The utter disregard for any morals and displaying a disgusting appearance in public, or the fact that the staff acknowledged this and did nothing about it. Hampton Inns...you need to produce a plan of action to handle this behavior. I'm glad there were no children around to see this. Disgusting!

Always an Excellent Hotel This particular Hampton Inn has been around for many years but is maintained very well and the staff is excellent. Access to the hotel can be difficult for people traveling southbound on 31 or 931. You have to maneuver through a business center and if you don't know where what street to turn onto and where the enter the business center a person would become lost very easily. I have been going to this hotel for at least 15 years and I still find it a bit of a challenge.

Will stay here again. The hotel was beautiful as were the grounds surrounding it. Walking in you're facing a comfortable lounge area (there were actually people lounging!), backed by a magnificent fireplace. When asked I learned that the fireplace had been salvaged and was given an information on the history of the hotel. showing pride in their hotel. We arrived late but Sierra was cheerful and helped us get settled. She set us on a good mood path after a long, tiring trip. In the morning we met Emma (front desk) and Graham (maintenance) who saw us off with smiles. Thanks for the different coffee choices! It's the little things that count the most. A great place to stay for the night or a week.

Charges for parking? You Have got to be Kidding me! I asked at check in why they needed my credit card since I booked online with a third party with my flight, hotel and rental car. I was told for incidentals. I did not know just what type of incidentals they offered, but thought phone calls or internet or something else. Their parking lot was very poor. To get to the hotel off 31 you use a very poor entry and you can't turn left onto 31. Your other choice is winding around other business parking lots to get there. You can not see the hotel from that access. They told me that a $5.00 charge for parking/night x 3. Hampton Inn charged my credit card $65. We were there for a family funeral. My sister used Booking.com and received no parking lot fee. I called hotel and they won't remove the fee and will take several days to remove the rest of the money they overcharged my credit card. This is not a cheap hotel and have never had a large city charge me for their parking lot, let alone Kokomo, Indiana. We are from the area and return to visit family and for funerals and weddings and general visits. I let all my family know about this charge for their future stays. We were there 3 nights. There was a baseball tournament and lots of noise. Dog barking added to the chaos. We did not ask for room cleaning or towels extra. They ran out of coffee right after breakfast. Our room has only decaf coffee pods. I later found a maid and requested regular coffee pods. We were really minimal customers in our requirements. We ate breakfast only 1 of 3 days. I feel their charges for parking on my credit card were excessive and not really appropriate. I will not stay there again.
