Not your daddy's Golden Nugget 1034879057 Just returned from a stay ... Their guest services are terrible. Be careful. I received a drink while playing at a table. And the glass has a chip and slightly cut my lip... They sent security, the pit boss gave me a tissue.. but it wasn't bad. But because they needed to cover themselves...I had to fill out a form. I even joked that it was my friend's bday..how about comping a dinner maybe? The pit boss goes no we don't do that. No one even followed up..when I spoke to someone from guest management they were indifferent . At least when the Mob controlled Vegas , they showed class. Should change to customer service... No one made me feel like a guest.

Sad and Soulless in Downtown Vegas Large, unfriendly hotel in downtown Vegas. Would not recommend. Well located for Fremont and Mob Museum but $20 taxi to the Strip or 45 minute ride on Deuce bus. Other guests didn’t seem happy. Loud concert outside til midnight. Woken up by drunks in corridor later in night. Great sized room and complimentary water. No coffee making facilities. Staff disinterested and room wasn’t cleaned properly - previous guests’ floss stick on floor in bathroom. Hassled by aggressive guy from hotel who paces casino trying to sign you up to visit a refurbished Hilton.

Went downhill FAST We have not been here since 2021 and while this has always been our 'go to' in Vegas...that ends now. Paid extra for a Gold tower room. Awful. Requested a room with a strip view...didn't get it. But that's ok and the least of my issues. The room is VERY run down and the floor filthy. The safe is not bolted down and can very easily be picked up and carried out. Crazy! You don't speak to a live person when you check in....only a computer screen...gone are the days of service with a smile. Ate an omelet and my husband had a chicken pot pie, diet soda and a coffee....$73 dollars. Outrageous. We are here until Tuesday and honestly dont know if we will stay...or go somewhere else.

Horrible We are here at the golden nugget now and are having a bad experience so far. We paid over $2000 for 6 nights. They give you 4 coffee pods. If you drink those you then have to pay $25 for 4 more. What?? They are not restocked if they clean your room which you have to ask for. Very noisy hotel and way more expensive than others. And so dated. I booked and paid for a newly renovated deluxe king but it was definitely not that at all. Looks like ZERO renovations in the last 20 years. Location is the only good thing.
