A wonderful getaway with friends Despite what we heard before we went we found the room very clean and our housekeeper took care to bring fresh linens each day. The only drawback was that it was a long walk to wherever we wanted to go.

Love the Luxor The Luxor has great atmosphere and entertainment. I would give it a 5 if the rooms were updated with new carpet and paint!

Good value for the money ! I will be back again in the future. I would call the Luxor over all a "good value" type establishment. The property is beginning to show it's age in the hallway and elevators, however it is a good value and has some strong points - location, easy check in and some reasonable restaurant prices.

Step back in time, not in a good way The Luxor: A Time Capsule of Disappointment If you’ve ever wondered what it was like to stay in a hotel in the 1980s — without any of the charm — the Luxor has you covered. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear this pyramid has seen better millennia. The Rooms: The television and phone system both look like they were salvaged from a Reagan-era garage sale. There’s no fridge, no coffee maker, and the mirror placement makes you question whether the designers ever stayed in an actual hotel room. On the plus side, the pillows are decent and the room size is fine — which is about as glowing as this review gets. The Amenities (or lack thereof): Prepare to stand in lines — long ones — for everything. Check-in? Line. Restaurants? Line. Elevators? If they’re even working, consider it a Vegas miracle. When they do move, they groan and rattle like a haunted carnival ride. Connectivity: The WiFi is, in a word, garbage. Trying to load a webpage feels like watching paint dry in slow motion. The Shower: Great water pressure, but the showerhead seems to have a vendetta against gravity — spraying in every direction except straight down. Atmosphere: There’s a persistent smell of smoke everywhere, even in supposedly non-smoking areas. It’s like the walls themselves have taken up smoking. Overall: Between the broken escalators, outdated tech, and the unmistakable sense that no one has updated anything since 1988, the Luxor feels less like a resort and more like an archaeological dig. Spend your money literally anywhere else on the Strip — you’ll thank yourself later.

Great value, family friendly, great pool! We stayed in a tower one bedroom suite as a family of 4, teens aged 15 & 18. Room was really spacious with good facilities. Bathroom needed a good deep clean and there was a large crack in the shower tray which wasn’t great - could do with an upgrade really. Beds were very comfortable & and we had a great view of the Excalibur. The location is a little out of the way at the top of the strip so be prepared to walk or uber. The hotel is fab, such a great theme, I prefer the older themed hotels. Felt modern inside and was clean. We loved the pool area, it is nice and open really sunny family friendly & alcoholic drinks weren’t too bad price wise. We also saw the Blueman group show and used the food court which was good value. The check in and out queue was a pain as this was quite long but the staff were friendly and helpful. For the price this was a good family hotel for us - wouldn’t go back as a couple but for a family trip it was great!
