Not FEMA-TSA Disaster Partner I was very disturbed to be working at 7:30 a.m., after being booked in as a victim from Tropical Helena because the hotel isn't a contracted partner with Corporate Lodging. I was approved Nov. 3rd for 30 days of paid lodging cost due to the loss of ability to coming staying at the residence cause of damage to the dwelling from Tropical Storm Helena. Prior, to driving to Microtel Suites I called. Gave the information by phone of my approval for paid lodging through FEMA-TSA. The front desk clerk, stated she had a suite available and to be sure I had my ID. I drove to the hotel, checked in and was given a room. Third shift staff came on duty, completed my booking, and said the system portal was done but she would get back to it later. Well, as I said in the beginning, 7:30 am, was wakened by first shift management to say, that the hotel wasn't a partner with FEMA-TSA, and that I would be responsible for the cost of the stay.$140 plus taxes and fees. So unfair, unruly and inconvenient, and financial burden. Being a victim of the storm, losses of financial wages, the excessive cost the live on a daily basis now. since I am what you would say homeless, for the last 5 weeks with an adult mentally challenged son that's been disrupted from daily routines, to get funding to pay for the stay that the hotel staff offered and allowed on their own accord. Had I been informed correctly, I would not have chosen the room that was given due to the higher room fees than the times I have stayed with this location in my past. So everyone please make a mental note and awareness the the Microtel Suites in Lillington NC does not accept guaranteed payment through FEMA-TSA federal government organizations. Best of luck to all.

Terrific service and kindness of the general manager! The hotel is very nice and exceptionally clean. However, the kindness of the general manager was the best! She was so kind to accommodate my special circumstances and saw to it that my stay was perfect. I will certainly use this hotel again in the future!

A+++++ in my books The room was very clean and the staff at the front desk was very courteous and friendly. The hotel cleaning personnel was there every day to clean the room up and make the bed. I was very well pleased with all the hotel personnel as I have been with every stay I have ever had at the hotel. But the only thing I could really suggest is to have more selection in the breakfast choices

Poor to fair Most concern was cleanliness and no smart TVs in guess rooms. Elevator was obviously dirty as it was in times past when I have stayed there. Maybe because the floor was old and you can't clean old linoleum floors.

NeedPower Strip! Take power strip with you! room has 1 outlet available in the bathroom and ones at floor level on left side of bed. If you need to charge anything other than cell phones you are out of luck. The room was clean but we felt the bed was very hard. Breakfast was adequate but there were a lot of carbohydrates in the offerings.
