Above and beyond customer service We were a group of 4 in town for a conference. While at breakfast we realized we did not have a black table cloth for our table at the conference so we just asked one of the staff if she thought they had one we could use.- the conference was right next door to hotel. She said she would check with manager. A few moments later, Melody, head of sales, insisted she go and find us one. While we assured her that was not necessary and we would take care of she would not have it. It was like her mission to get this for us. I think she went to 2 stores and then called a friend that had one we could use. She immediately came back to hotel to deliver it to us as we were walking out the door. We were blown away- her response was “we are family here and that’s what we do”. She saw a need and filled it, going well above and beyond her duties. All of the staff are like this. So gracious and kind at all times! I would highly Recommend and will be staying here every year for the conference.

Cozy This hotel is in a great spot! It’s right off the interstate and close to a Cracker Barrel. I also drove straight across at the red light for about 10 minutes and found all kinds of places to eat along with a Walmart and Target. It’s a nice area. The hotel was so clean and everyone was friendly. There is a continental breakfast which was just okay for me but they have a nice seating area for breakfast and a nice area outside for relaxing. The room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable. I slept like a baby. I do wish there were better tv channels to watch. My only other complaint is the shower could have been a little better as far as water pressure goes. The fold out twin bed is a no go unless you have a little kid using it. My teen said it wasn’t comfortable at all.

Awful Customer Service IHG Platinum Elite member who did pre-checkin the day before only to be called at 10:20 pm, 15 minutes before arrival that I had no reservation because the hotel was overbooked. The front desk supervisor didn’t feel she had to help find us other accommodations and hung up.

Worst Staybridge I've ever stayed in I generally prefer Staybridge Suites which is why we chose this property, but it was truly a terrible experience. We would have moved after the first night but everything in town was sold out due to a large basketball tournament happening that week/weekend. We (me, husband, 2 teenagers) were there for 7 nights and it was not enjoyable. Definitely would not stay here again. Pros: - It is generally quiet. We did not face the highway (I saw other reviewers say this was loud); we were toward the back of the hotel in room 205, a one bedroom suite. - The fitness room was small but I could do a full workout. It had one treadmill (with a rip in the tread and very loud so probably annoying to others, but I had my earbuds in), one elliptical, one set of weights, and one machine. There was only ever 1 other person there when I worked out in the mornings. However, the laundry room is through the weight room, so if you are shy, get over it because there will be people walking in/out and hanging around in line for laundry (more on that in the cons section). - The front desk people and breakfast/happy hour people are really nice. Cons: - Worst one was there are only 2 stackable washer/dryer units and for the entire time we were there, only one unit worked. I finally waited in line one morning beginning at 6:30am to be second in line. The wash cycle takes one hour and 5 minutes, in case you want to know that, and the quick cycle takes half an hour. I know from experience. It was a very bad week to be down to one unit because of all the basketball teams staying there. - Trash. Housekeeping never came into our unit, even though they were supposed to do light housekeeping Monday-Friday and we were there a week. We had trash building up, and saw people put trash out in the hallway which would stay out there more than 24 hours. When I mentioned this to the front desk people, they apologized and said their housekeeping staff was short handed. Still no excuse for allowing trash to accumulate in the hallways. - Air conditioner. It has an old thermostat that you "dial" the temp you want it, though I'm not sure it really helped. Room was either too hot or too cold. When the unit kicked on it sounded like a freight train, and when it kicked off it "hurrumphed" loudly and then was silent/no fan or air blowing. We got used to it around the 3rd or 4th nights and could get to sleep despite the change in noise level, but it took a while. - Sofa bed. Forget it. We went out and bought an air mattress to use after the first night. - Bed was comfortable but pillows were old, dead, no fluff at all. Really dreadful. - After all of these cons, it's hardly worth mentioning, but breakfast was very limited and if you were late coming down, you may miss it. A couple of days we were there, they ran out and did not refill, even with 1/2 hour to go in the serving window.

We Love Staybridge, But This One Needs Attention We are fans of Staybridge Suites. We like the layout, the full-size refrigerator and the couch. We especially liked the sink and mirror separate from shower and commode at this hotel. Check in and out was easy and the person at the desk was personable and pleasant. We arrived early and she allowed us to check in early without a problem. All the staff we encountered were pleasant and easy to deal with. Breakfast was good and was available on time. Many people like Staybridge and this facility has obviously seen many travelers. It needs a lot of touch ups. It shows wear and needs attention. As much as we love the layout and set up, we can only rate this one 3 stars. The facility looks tired and needs attention, such as bathroom ceiling needs repair, paint on door frames and cabinet finishes are worn and need repair, in places the carpet is worn thru to the sub-floor. The bed and pillows were grate. Overall, we had a good stay and left well rested and prepared for the remainder of our trip.
