Great stay "This property is a hidden gem. The rooms are well appointed and very clean and roomy. The staff at the check-in desk were very friendly and helpful, a pleasure to deal with. They also offer specials on some of the events in town. We obtained discount tickets for the ferry trip to the island. All in all a very pleasant stay after a long days driving."

Pass on this one! I honestly booked this motel thinking it was one of the places close to the Mackinac Bridge. That was my mistake. When I pulled into this place I was stunned that I had screwed up this bad. Had booked on Expedia (never again) and realized I had paid $300 plus for a dump. I took one look and asked for a refund. Of course they weren’t going to do it. Expedia was no help. Musty smelling, clammy sheets, multiple power cords overloading an outlet, sink that wouldn’t drain, ancient light fixtures. Manager said it was one of their best rooms, if so I never want to see the average ones. When checking in I heard them offering rates at about half the rate Expedia had. So no more Expedia for me.

Nasty smelly rooms Rooms are smelly, carpet stained. We did have more than one room and both were equally bad. Only reason I stayed was family was very tired I understand places get old and used but please keep them clean I do not recommend this place to anyone unless it’s totally remodeled

Would stay here again for sure Needed a bed for one night basically just passing through. For a motel, this was nice. Even had toiletries. Bed was comfortable. It was all clean. Check in and check out staff all very friendly. Motel was full but it was quiet.

Clean and comfortable Stayed two nights. Conveniently located and fairly quiet. Spacious clean room. Amenities included coffee maker, microwave and minifridge (although the latter was overcooling even on the lowest setting). Comfortable beds and pillows. Well lit desk area. Sink located outside of the bathroom, with missing stopper. Shower with good water pressure. Wifi worked well. Easy parking. No breakfast.
