Hampton Inn Meridian

Excellent except breakfast Hotel was recently remodeled and was in a great clean condition and the rooms were the same . I must admit that the food at breakfast was luke warm to cold and the toaster didn’t work and as other reviews have stated there are no bagels. We will go to Cracker Barrell next time but will stay here.

Terrible nights sleep. I booked 4 rooms for 1 night as part of a family road trip at the Hampton Inn Meridian. It was conveniently situated just off of interstate 20. Unfortunately all 8 family members complained that they had a very bad nights sleep with constant noises heard throughout the night from the lift and a strange ringing noise in 1 of the rooms all night. I was in room 214 and the noise from the elevator was beyond annoying. It was loud and constant. When i was checking out the guests from room 216 which was next to my room 214 and directly next to the lift complained to the gentleman on reception about the noise from the lift all night. I also complained to the gentleman on reception about the terrible nights sleep due to the constant loud noise from the lift but the gentleman just shrugged it off. I currently hold Hilton Diamond status so I’m obviously a fan of Hilton, but unfortunately this property is not up to Hilton’s normally great standards. I cannot recommend this hotel due to the terrible nights sleep me and the rest of my family had at this hotel due to the constant loud noise that comes from the lift.

No Internet!! The breakfast meat was strange, polish sausage. Food was filling but nothing to rave about. The Internet was not working and had been out for 2 weeks according to the front desk. They said they were waiting for ATT to fix the problem. That is inexcusable in this day and time.

Worst Hampton Inn One of the worst Hampton Inns I have stayed in. It is showing its age with deteriorating floor baseboards etc. They were replacing some of them. The lobby was full of boxes of supplies that had not been moved. The elevator had dirty floors with litter and only one of the two was working. The breakfast was OK but lacked some items such as choices of fruit etc. The room however did meet usual standards.

Next trip I will find somewhere else to stay. Sadly, they didn't live up to their usual quality. The hotel lobby was in disarray. Next, even though I had called to varify my reservation, when I arrived they didn't have my room available and put me in a room I didn't want. The room wasn't in the best of shape either and it only had one lamp so it was difficult to read. Although I called Hilton Honors, they hung up on me and I also left a message for the manager but was never contacted. The people at the front desk were polite but a couple bottles of water doesn't compensate.
