Nothing special for the Camino real Hotel chain I always stay at the hotel primarily because it is right next to the airport and I need to stay overnight to catch a connecting flight.. Unfortunately, there are always DETAILS in the room - air conditioning noisy and/or doesn't work properly. Bathroom shower head covered in limescale, or plug doesn't close properly in the bathroom sink. One has to pay in US dollars, or that days equivalent in Mexican pesos which one assumes is the Hotel's exchange rate. I bought via Booking.com but ended up paying about 500 pesos more that what I was quoted (in pesos). I will continue to stay there when travelling to Mexico but ONLY for the overnight stop-over.

Disgusting Room and Terrible Service This is the worst hotel I have stayed in for a long time. Check-in took over 45 minutes of waiting, and the staff was rude. I reserved this hotel because it was supposed to offer VIP access, but they did not provide me with anything special. If anything, I feel like I got one of the worst rooms in the hotel. The condition of the room is both disgusting and disappointing. There are black stains on the bed blankets, a broken shower door, a toilet that does not flush properly, and a strong sewer smell in the room. The beds are on wheels, so anytime you sit, lay down, or move, the beds shift all over the place. I informed the front desk about these issues, but they did absolutely nothing to address them. I am completely overwhelmed and dissatisfied with the condition of this property.

Loud, outdated and overpriced The hotel is conveniently located across terminal 1. Crossing the bridge from the hotel is easy and quick, no need to pay for a shuttle. The lobby is nice and the rooms clean. However, the hallways and rooms are quite old. Our double room was on the first floor. Our bathroom sink had a crack and the curtains didn’t shut completely. The walls are quite thin and we could hear everything on the hallways and contiguous rooms. It was VERY difficult to sleep. The cost per night was high compared to the quality of the room.

Extremely disappointed I booked a room for one night, from December 11 to 12, hoping for a comfortable rest before an early flight. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. First, I had to wait in a long line at check-in, and I only got to my room at 10 PM. Since I needed to leave at 4 AM, I was hoping to get some sleep and recover after a long flight. Unfortunately, that was impossible. Loud music played outside the hotel until 1 AM, accompanied by fireworks, creating unbearable noise. As a result, instead of resting, I spent the night feeling frustrated and exhausted. This level of service is unacceptable for a hotel that markets itself as a place for comfortable rest, especially near an airport. I expected better and was extremely dissatisfied.
