Schuster Mansion Bed & Breakfast

Their wacko politics ruined it Normally I like to support local businesses, but in this case these innkeepers really made it difficult to give them a good review based on my recent visit. The website shows a photo of a beautiful old building, but when my party arrived we were greeted by a very large banner proclaiming their extremely controversial QAnon political views. The banner hangs front and center on the entry porch, meanwhile their American flag is disrespected, hung low from the fence at the side, catching on and being ripped on the bushes. It made the people in my party extremely uncomfortable to have that wacko stuff shoved in our faces when all we should have been thinking about was our pending visit. We would have cancelled, but the place doesn't honor cancellations on the day of. Once inside, the place was nice, the tea food were good. All they would have had to do to avoid the problem would be to remove the politics by taking down that awful banner, and keeping their politics to themselves. And of course, flying the American flag appropriately.

Great Stay Spent a night in the Prairie Sky room while driving through Milwaukee. The mansion is beautifully decorated, and Laura Sue and Rick are great hosts. The garden space outside is very nice, and the breakfast was delicious. Would certainly recommend.

Promise was Kept Like many, Corona canceled our July vacation and stay at Schuster. I emailed in April 2020 and asked for a refund. I was told they are unable to give a refund then, but will get it to me when they could. They did. If I am ever in the Milwaukee area, I will be sure to stay at Schuster, because they keep their promises.

Tea and overnight stay! Awesomely great experience! Highly recommend!!! It was wonderful! We had an amazing tea and loved the room. The owners are awesome!i I highly recommend this bed and breakfast and the high tea!!!!! What a great place! Felt safe and very well accommodated!

Charming mansion and really nice hosts The place is beautiful, with a lot of interesting details and our room (Praire Sky) was gorgeous! The hosts Laura and Rick are really nice, Laura made us delicious cookies and we even purchased a couple of things from their store. Their cats are lovely as well! The breakfast was scrumptious, would definitely go back again!
