No restaurants close, without driving or taking a taxi/Uber. Wyndham Garden Monterrey Valle Real Wyndham hotels can widely vary, from really nice, to those you expect to be good but aren’t, this one was clean. When I walked into the room, my first impression was Holiday Inn Express. There was a green throw on the white bedspread, pictures to follow. Next, I tried to use the safe, I couldn’t. It said, please enter code. Most times, you hit # and a four digit code of your choosing. Didn’t work. I called the front desk, but they didn’t know. It requires you to swipe your room key. Next day, to late, I figured it out. The TV is small by today’s standards, The toilet area is small. Next to a sign saying our towels are white, was a hand towel that was far from white. The hotel offers food, but I’d venture to guess the occupancy was 10%. The restaurant didn’t look inviting. Part of the fun of traveling is finding a great restaurant, but this hotel isn’t close to anything. If you’re there to work, you’ll be fine. The free breakfast the next day offered fruit, cottage cheese, bread, beans, milk carton eggs, scrambled of course and cereal. It’s free. Not much to complain about, because if you don’t like what they’re serving, go somewhere and buy breakfast. I booked the hotel from rewards points, it was ok. That being said, the staff was nice, but I probably wouldn’t go back.

Stuffy rooms and in a underwhelming location At some time the hotel’s Airconditioning was replaced with mini split units in each room. Considering the windows do not open all these air conditioners do is recycle increasingly stale air from previous guests - really unhealthy. In addition the hotel has zero amenities close by. Even though the hotel was clean, the staff were helpful and the bed was comfy, do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.

Excellent location, service and value. Overall excellent service, value for your money, good location, very clean and big rooms, friendly staff, complementary breakfast was good. Definitely, we are going to return. Small parking but efficient. Good wifi connection.

HOTEL ROOM OK, FRONT DESK TERRIBLE Reservation made online, when i arrived a copy of my id was demanded, ( even though i had a confirmation letter where none of this is written) without showing their privacy notification (aviso de privacidad) which is mandatory by law. by phone the manager said that if they don´t copy my id they will not allow me to stay in a rude manner. So, they copied my id and when I provided my AMEX card their machine did not worked and either I had another payment card or they would not allow me to chek in. the room is ok, clean and functional. the shower had no great pressure and the bed was simply ok. they had many places to charge your electronic devices but none of them have a USB charger plug. breakfast was poor, dry chilaquiles, only decaf coffee and cold eggs. if you are concerned about the use of your official id i do not recommend this hotel, they do not follow the Mexican law and basically can do whatever they wish with your personal information.
