Great Experience For A Road Weary Traveler This was the nicest Quality Inn I've ever had the pleasure of staying at (in my 30 year career of traveling around the country) as either a member of the military or civilian work force. The staff were very friendly and most accommodating. The entire facility was in excellent condition and exceptionally clean throughout. My room was extremely comfortable and very well stocked with everything a tired traveler could possibly want or need after a long day on the road. I had a full size desk, microwave, refrigerator and coffee bar along with a nice (wall mounted) TV and a very convenient charging station for all my electronic devices located right next to my very comfortable queen size bed. The bathroom was stocked with a variety of fresh towels, face cloths, hand towels, bath mats, etc... shampoo, hair conditioner, several kinds of soap, body wash and even a very convenient hair dryer.

Enjoyed our stay Traveling through and found this hotel. The room wasn’t large but was enough for our needs. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were also. The room was quiet. The bathroom and shower were good. The free breakfast was a bonus and had eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal etc. The breakfast area was adorable! It was decorated wonderfully and made you feel right at home and you could tell she cared about her job and the area. I would recommend and would stay here again.

Soft bed, clean but charge xtra 3% for CC This hotel has been updated but still has an ‘old’ feel about it. The check in was slow even though we were the only one in the lobby. He did not seem happy to be there on Sunday. He said he could not give a recommendation for a restaurant but I saw the paper that was laying on a display about local restaurants. Not many open on sunday. The room was clean but we hater to stay in rooms that have had dogs in them. The room smelled musky. The beds at all QI’s must be soft because this is our third stay in different ones and they are all soft. Plenty of towels, etc. the bath was modern and a bit strange with a triangular tub/shower. Breakfast was offered but the muffins tasted stale and the coffee was not good. They had a waffle maker. There was a sign that extra 3% would be charged for using a credit card. I hate this practices so many places have started. So far we cannot tell we were charged the extra. The hotel is just OK and if you like soft beds.

Another great stay in Moriarty, NM Stayed in room 109. Room is small but clean. One comfortable double bed, tub/shower (felt a little squishy when stepping on the tub floor) with hand-held shower head, several grab bars, wooden seat. Hair dryer, multiple outlets and USB ports, cold AC microwave, and small, square mini fridge. Lighting in room is a little dim. Cookies at and chocolate mints at front desk. There's a tv, computer, and popcorn machine in lobby. Cozy reading room with Chinese checkers, glass chess set, books. Super friendly breakfast attendant (Mandy). Nice breakfast...eggs, sausage (not dripping in grease...thank you), oatmeal, cereal, etc. Hubby said really good coffee. Love the warm, quaint atmosphere at this place! Marcos was great at check-in, as was Grace at check-out. This is our third stay and will definitely stay again. All staff members are friendly and accommodating. Easy access from I-40. Family Dollar next door if you forgot something from home. If not going to use the safe in the room, let front desk know when you check in.

Ok place to stay in Moriarty. Pluses are that it’s in a quiet location. Pet friendly-$20 pet fee per pet. Great breakfast. Self serve from 6-9. Negatives are the small tv-32” maybe? Have spent 1/3 as much at other hotels that have bigger tvs. Room wasn’t very well lit. Room key doesn’t work well in outside entrance doors. Front desk clerk warned us about it and said, “been like that for years - don’t know why they don’t fix it.” I thought price was a little high for what you get.
