Better than what you’re reading, get a condo. I was having extreme anxiety being pregnant and reading through the past experiences. However, it was marvelous in the condos. Our family enjoyed amenities and will definitely be returning with our newest addition next year. The staff and management even went above and beyond to add a day and even give us a discounted price from what we were told the previous night. All in all a great place to stay. You can tell the staff and team work very hard to ensure the guest have a great time.

Family Vacation 2024 This was our first family vacation to Myrtle Beach. We typically stay in North Myrtle. The Grand Atlantic is a nice resort with a great oceanfront view and clean beach area. The pool and hot tub areas are well maintained and clean. They also provide pool towels which is great so that you don’t have to use your regular beach towels at the pool area. The little ice cream shop/grille snack shack (Scoobys) attached to the complex is also nice. One big negative we experienced was the smell of pot. We saw some other posts referencing this problem, and it is true. One day we saw a group passing a joint around on the beach out in the open. We had a great family vacation but we’ll be going back to North Myrtle next time.

Beware of the beds! Unsanitary! My mom and I went family (8 of us) to the beach and stayed at this hotel Friday, 7/19/24 - Monday, 7/22/24 (Condos 307-1 & 307-2 connected). My mom and I stayed in one of the 3 rooms (double beds) next/behind the kitchen in 307-2. Please beware of this room and condo. When we arrived Friday evening, we checked the out linens on the beds and there were urine stains on one of the mattresses, blood looking stains on both mattresses , box spring and bed skirt. I took pictures of the stains and we contacted the front desk. Front desk sent maintenance up. Maintenence also observed the stains stating the mattress stain looked like urine and tried to say brown blood looking stain may be rust. We were told there were no other rooms available and they would try to clean the stains (not the urine stain). House Keeping gave us new mattress covers, we flipped the mattress over and doubled up the linens on the beds . We also rewashed the linens. I asked to speak with the manager and was told she would be in on Saturday. The manager, Amber said we could have gotten a refund if we checked out on Friday (and go where at the last minute with senior citizens)... First of all, we were with 6 other family members that didn't have issues with thier beds. It was just the one room and we were all together. We were advised there were no other rooms available in that building. Management could have given us something back towards the cost for that one room or something towards another onr possibly if my family wanted to stay at that resort again. Amber also stated their housekeeping is responsible for checking the beds when removing and replacing linens on the beds. Please see the attached photos.

Family Vacation No complaints on this trip. The 3 bedroom was great. It was clean and had all the supplies we needed to cook . The grands had fun in all the pools, and the grounds were well kept. Check-in was a breeze, thanks to Tasha for everything you are a true asset as long as we have been coming to MB I truly believe you were the nicest and most informative person I have come in contact with. Just fyi: housekeeping doesn't come to your room. You have to call down to get extra supplies( towels, sheets, toliet tissue). Now I did have to buy paper towels and dish liquid. There is a restaurant and shop connected to the resort and a shop across the street for anything you may need and a neighborhood market a couple blocks over from the resort.

Always A Great Experience... Have stayed here several times during 20023. No complaints or issues whatsoever. Check-in has always been i order and the front desk staff have always been extremely nice and accommodating. Nice property, nice pool area (indoor/ outdoor), plenty of parking in the parking garage. Will certainly return.
