Comfortable and affordable My family and I enjoyed the comfortable beds and the pool was fantastic, very spacicious. The restaurant had a good menu and we enjoyed a tasty breakfast.

Well managed 130 room hotel with nice restaurant. My wife and I stayed 2 nights, checking in at 2PM. A welcoming receptionist checked my ID, took my payment(included C$50 deposit) while I filled out an auto #/liability form, then received the keycards with the wifi code. We parked in the back and carried our bags up to the 2nd floor. Room #247 was clean, carpeted, with a comfortable queen, couch, and a large window with a forest view behind the parking lot. The bathroom had a tub/shower with quick hot water, soap, shampoo, lotion and nice towels. The medium sized TV had a room satellite guide(Detroit networks, CBC, CNN, CTV, HGTV, TSN, Weather & many more channels). Strong secure wifi, 4 wall outlets and good lighting. We swam in the heated 20’ x 40’ indoor pool/hot tub across from the nice 6 station gym. We walked 850m west to lovely Sunset Park and drove 1.8km north to the large Metro Supermarket. Overall, a quiet night’s sleep.

If it wasnt for the staff it would have got a 1 rating Great staff couldnt fault them. Clean room. Terrible terrible bed. Unfortunatly trying to sleep on memory foam you wake up sore and stiff. You also end up very hot ended up in the chair which was very comfy. Retuarant was lovey the staff were wonderful. My partners meal was well prepared but my lasagne was very dry there was no sauce in the meat sauce so it was very dry couldnt eat it.

Pet Friendly Stay in North Bay We brought our pet to the Best Western and had a great time. Our room 164 was right by the door and very clean. So clean our dog did not sniff around much at all. He just settled right in. The doors are very secure and the staff is friendly. The food at the restaurant was good as well.

Tired rooms in need of renovation This hotel is tired and badly in need of renovations. Some general cleanliness issues (eg. Little hairs in bathroom, blood spots on one of the towels, stains on couch), as well as general disrepair. Bathtub drain plug didn’t work properly; stains on shower wall, lots of patched up spots on the walls, etc. would not recommend. On the plus side, staff were very friendly.
