Great hotel near Camp Pendleton We were there for an event at Camp Pendleton and we could not have been closer or in a more convenient location. The staff was friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable. The pool was well maintained, but the hot tub was not working. My only negative is that the breakfast is pretty minimal so we walked across the street to the Dennys on the days we needed something more substantial. Lots of other great food nearby and a short drive to the beach.

A little tired. This hotel is showing it's age a little. In our room the bathtub could stand refinishing. There was a strange looking guy hanging out near the parking lot that did not leaving me feeling great.

Needs attention While the hotel's location and nearby dining options are definite highlights, the state of the building and fixtures needs attention. Very close to the freeway and there is a Denny's, In & Out and a Mexican restaurant nearby (may be more). While its at a great spot, the building definitely needs a thorough overhaul. The lock for the shower broke and I got stuck inside :D, however the staff on duty promptly sent help, else would have spent the night in the bathroom. If management invests in the property's upkeep, it could transform into a truly great place to stay.

****RUDE RIPOFF*** RUN AWAY!!!!!***** ****Run AWAY**** rip off - paid for room in advance - 4 night stay - upon arrival - they require deposit $150 which is fine but I left my care at home (100 miles away) but had plenty of cash - the refused to accept the cash and refused to check me in even though the room was paid for - barely speak English and were probably the rudest people I have ever encountered in all of my travels. The charges me for a night saying that was their policy & they’d refund 3 nights in 7 to 10 business days - the motel is dumpy but I was 100 miles away from home with nowhere to stay- the location is good but you it’s a sketchy motel in a sketch neighborhood… I will tell everyone I know to avoid Days INN - RUDE RIPOFF is that this place should be called!

Nice Short stay near the harbor This is our go to place to stay for a few days when visiting family in the area. Great for the value. We enjoy the close proximity to the harbor and easy path from the hotel to get there. Good service, continental breakfast, and comfortable beds!
