Warning Take a Pass at This Hotel…charges will appear on your credit card that don’t apply…!!! Let me say that this place is an ADA nightmare...the entire place is a trip hazard and the handicap spots are all damaged and the location could not care one bit.... Secondly, please if you have stayed there check your credit card receipts as to a $250 dollar charge for "smoking"... They will charge you in hope of you not noticing.... If this applies to you, please leave a response here as I am an investigator looking into a possible class action lawsuit re this location. We have seen this posted in other forums such as this .... The manager Carla is outright rude and feels she is beyond reproach... This is a warning to anyone who may want to stay here.....

Give it a try! Good value. It's a good value and good location. The front desk manager made sure I was well-aware of the amenities and cautioned me to not walk around the shoreline (gators) which was nice to hear. It was good to get a short orientation as I checked in. She told me about the pool hours, breakfast, parking and was very pleasant. The room is dated, but with the photos posted here, I don't know who couldn't see that. Real wood furniture lasts, so of course they're not going to throw solid furniture away because it isn't in vogue. If you want new furniture that's cheaply-made, spend 3 times the price and stay at a new hotel. I kind of like the old look as it reminds me of vacations we took when we were kids. You're here to fish and sightsee, not sit inside and disparage the furniture style. The mattress is in great shape, though! The room was clean and the hotel isn't noisy at night. The parking lot is HUGE, too. I was here on business, but I can see why people would want to stay here for an inexpensive overnight or a fishing trip. Good price and it's as-advertised.

**WARNING** DO NOT STAY HERE! If I could give this place negative stars I would! First off I called before I checked in and asked if they did early check in, the woman at the front desk said no problem earliest I could do is 2 o’clock I told her no problem I’d be there then. I arrived at 2 oclock and was told by housekeeping the front desk was gone for lunch and to have a seat she’d be back in an hour check isn’t till 3. So I waited for an hour in the car with my family. Next our room was super outdated, the ac barley even worked and there was a hole at bottom of door and bugs kept coming in. I booked a week long stay with them and there wasn’t hot breakfast not one day. Everyday my room key didn’t work and would have to go in office to get new ones and just about every time I went in office the front desk had a sign stating someone would be back in 30 min. The boat lounge they supposedly have looks like it’s been shut down for years. And for the grand finale… I rebooked the room for another week (because it was cheapest hotel and I could use our Wyndham reward points and our family has been living out of a hotel for a month) as my family was waiting the final inspection for our home being built.. the manager/ owner banged our door the morning we were supposed to check out at 10 a.m (although I renewed for a week and check out isn’t even until 11 a.m) stating the card that I booked with isn’t going through. (Mind you I didn’t book with the card we use over the computer due to fraud) I told her no problem my husband has the card and he would be back in a few, at this point my dogs are now barking because she was banging on door, so now she says oh you have dogs in here and I stated yes the service dogs I checked in with at your front desk. At this moment she then says she must see them and I declined and then she violated my husbands rights by saying I must show her the service dog paperwork and I also declined and told her that’s illegal, she then tried to push her way in my room while I was barley dressed in my pajamas and with my 2 young children, so I closed door on her. She then decides to call cops and trespass me and my family. She also ran my credit card multiple times for multiple transactions afterwards until my credit card maxed out! Nastiest and most unprofessional establishment I have EVER been too, EVER!!!! Never would I go back or recommend to anyone!!!
