Clean and comfortable The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We had a 2nd floor room and there is an elevator. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. This is a pet friendly hotel and a short drive from 95 but definitely worth it after the ride on 95 all day. There are places to eat nearby and the hot and cold breakfast was a great start to the day with good coffee!

Please address recurring issues when they keep coming up. I came to town for a funeral. The hotel itself is nice and clean. The room was clean. My problem was with the door key. It never worked correctly. I had to go back to the lobby 3 times upon arrival because I could not open the door. The lady at the front door kept trying to reset it. She was the only person on duty. They were very short staffed. They do serve a hot breakfast with eggs, grits and sausage. It was very good. When I returned to my room, the key stuck again. Had to go back to the lobby twice. She never offered another room or another key. She just kept working with the same key. Finally got back in my room and left for the funeral. Came back in the late afternoon and had to go back to the lobby because the key did not work. There was a different lady on duty. She tried the same key again. It did not work.....again. When I went back down she said if it did not work this time I could get another room. Really???? That should have been done the night before. Since I had to leave early the next morning, and being exhausted from a funeral, I was in no mood to pack up and go to a new room. I tried to tell both of the ladies it was not the key, there was something wrong with the receptor in the door. I was making a strange noise. They did not listen. I liked the hotel, but am giving it a two because of the door issues. Manager: Guests should not have to go through all that.

Worth the short drive from 95 This was a good Holiday Inn Express. A bit off the highway but they were pet friendly. Room was clean, staff was friendly and breakfast was good. The area does not have as many food choices as Lumberton but the hotel is worth the 15 minute ride from 95.

Not a Comfortable Stay On our way to Florida we stopped here for the night Though the property is nice and so is the staff - Rooms are not done well maintained. The ac unit was working as if one has switched on the generator. Not at all a comfortable stay with too much of noise

Very nice This hotel was clean and nicely up to date. Staff was very friendly. We didn’t use the pool but it was spotless and inviting. Quiet and peaceful. Pet friendly with a small charge. Just perfect for the 2nd night of a long road trip. Will definitely recommend this hotel.
