Good Rate and a Good Stay No, this place is not one of the best I have stayed at but for a good price we had a nice stay. Rooms were clean and all in all we had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was your normal danish or toast with a few sandwiches that you could microwave.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. This place used to be decent, but everything about it is disgusting. I’m attaching just a few photos that I took but could have shown several more. We stayed here for three nights and they never once changed the sheets. They never once vacuumed. The only clean-ish area is the breakfast area and restrooms. It’s all a facade because the rest of the place is rundown and straight up gross. The hallways all smell like weed and have had no cosmetic upkeep in God knows how long. The parking lot is in total disrepair. No landscaping has been done at all. I had to walk the Indian folks who own the place through how to process a cash payment. I highly recommend you get a receipt immediately because they nearly triple charged me. Honest to God, stay away from this place. It’s horrible.

Needs some work. The room had a funny smell. And the bathroom was partially remodeled. The sink area was nice, but the tub was rusting and peeling paint by the wall. The front desk gal was very short with my sister. The web site said there was a $25 fee for a dog, but the gal at the desk said, “well we charge $50.” Not good. Change your website. The super 8 next door is nicer and less expensive.

Nice renovated rooms but outside is sadly ignored We booked this QI because it took pets and was near the Great America Rails-Trails Nickel Plate Trail that we were biking. It sits right next to a Walmart off the interstate so is at a convenient location. Also next to it is a Super8 owned by the same group. But when you drive up to the Quality Inn, it appears to be in bad shape. It was unmowed and there was trash everywhere. The cigarette butts were piled high on the top of the trash can. The "pool" area (no longer a pool, now filled with concrete) had chairs and tables willy nilly around the concrete. This is also where they put their ladder and riding lawn mower. In fact, we took 5 minutes to put the tables and chairs in order which made the place look so much better. The hallways inside are low and dark. Not very appetizing as you walk to your room. But the rooms appear to be recently renovated and pretty clean. So once in your room, it feels a lot safer. I think if someone took the day to clean up the grounds, do some landscaping, and put brighter lights in the hallways, it would make a world of difference. The day staff were pretty good and helpful. The evening and night staff were useless. They just watched TV in the dining area and visited with friends who dropped in. Summary--a little TLC and staff upgrades would go a long way to improve this property.

I stay here for work. Best in the area but the options are limited. Breakfast is pretty good. Rooms have always been clean. Staff has always been more than helpful with any needs. If you're in the area this is the best option around.
