Best hotel in Rockford! First impressions are lasting impressions...and our first impression, of this Staybridge, was great!!! Upon entering the lobby we were immediately greeted by Shante and things just got better from there! Shante had a terrific, cheerful personality and checked us in quickly and gave us all the pertinent hotel info. Our room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with many tasty selections. The evening happy hour, with complimentary drinks and food, was amazing! The hotel is in a safe location with plenty of parking and restaurants within walking distance. We will DEFINITELY stay at this Staybridge, in Rockford, whenever we are in the area...and we certainly hope Shante is still there to greet us: She is a true asset to IHG corporation!!! Every hotel should have a Shante to check you in!

Thanks for making our stay the best. My family and I flew in recently for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration for my son C.J. I wish I could mention the staff by name because they were the best. Everything from the beds to other accommodations and location could not have been any better for our occasion. Thanks for making our stay comfortable and memorable.

I wanted to take the bed home with me. We were dodging some bad weather and pulled in quite late (around midnight). The front desk clerk was seriously great. Really helpful, friendly and pleasant. The entire place including our room was very clean, smelled great and the bed and pillows were to die for.... they were so comfortable! The complimentary breakfast was quite extensive with a lot of variety. Very impressed with this place! They were super welcoming to us and our furbaby.

Old and worn out First, I will give props to the cleaning staff. They do their best to keep the rooms and common areas clean, despite the fact that everything thing in this hotel is original. And by original, I mean not changed since this place was built in the 1990s. The wallpaper is stained and peeling. Carpets are threadbare. Furniture is torn, stained and scuffed. We noticed mold growing behind some of the peeling wallpaper. The beds felt very worn out with mattresses dipping in the middle. Grills out back hadn't been cleaned in decades. If you are looking for more room to spread out, you will find spacious guest rooms. It is also nice to have a kitchen if you're staying with kids or for a longer length of time. This was our first time to Rockford, but there were lots of other hotels nearby. I'd look for something a bit less dated if I were to go back.

Great stay! Another great stay at a Staybridge Suites. It was right off the highway which was very convenient. Customer service was beyond excellent. The room was clean and comfortable and extremely quiet. Breakfast was great. The gym was also great. I would definitely stay here again.
