Sonesta Select San Ramon

Meh This hotel is very conveniently located in San Ramon. We were in town visiting my aging in laws who are residents at the Ivy. Very easy access to highway and shopping. My issues were the noise on the side facing highway 680. We booked a suite which was great, but the traffic noise was awful. We were both up all night. The next am we told the gentleman at the desk about the noise and he moved us to other side of the hotel. The noise was much better. My second issue was though the desk clerk told us he would take care of adjusting the charges, we found out on check out, that they were never adjusted to the lower rate. The clerk said she would talk to the manager and they would call to follow up. No call and no rate adjustment. I called two days later as my cc had been charged without any change to charges. Once again, I was assured I would get an email within 10 minute. NOPE!!!!! Not so much.Had to go the corporate website to finally get the rate adjusted. So aggravating. Who wants to spend time chasing down things that should have been taken care of when they said they would. Very disappointing. My last issue and the most egregious!! No free coffee in the lobby???? If you're going to charge these rates, this should be a given. Back to the Hyatt House for us.

Not for families or stays longer then 3 days Where can I begin , I came home here with family to visit a relative who live in San Ramon. We stayed 7 nights - and I do not recommend this hotel for families or long stay . I would only recommend it for a night or for a two night business visit . Lots of inconvenience: very small pool . The rooms had no space to store clothes for a party of 4 . My spouse literally placed most of his clothes for the week on top of a table . No space to store clothes . The closet is for like a single person who stays for less then4 days. The complementary fridge , microwave, nada , no view to anywhere. Again i feel this hotel to stay for one night or to catch a flight if you have a layover . Def not for family or vacations . More for a one night stay .

Sonesta Select San Ramon Great hotel, for the location. It’s price is reasonable, and it has the normal features of a hotel. ( Flat screen television, bed, bathroom, etc.) I would recommend booking the one-bedroom suite, if you have three or more people, because it has larger area and a sofa bed where you can relax. In addition, it has two televisions and is relatively cheap.

Relaxing Vibe I was displaced out of my home due to the rain & this hotel became my home for a week or so. It was a hard time to try to find a comfortable place for my cats as well, and safety. This hotel accommodated my request from day 1. I-zak working at the front desk at that time accommodate my request to tour few rooms to make sure it was good for us. The room I stayed at was comfortable with a balcony. It was nice fresh air, quiet, and nice comfy bed. The bathroom was nice and good shower size, walk in. The hotel has a really nice lobby, very spacious to eat your meals, have coffee, or work from your laptop. The rooms does not have any microwave but downstairs by the lobby there is a mini store & microwave you can use. The room has a mini fridge. The hotel is modern and has a relaxing chill vibe. It wasn’t depressing and all the workers I had encountered were understanding, respectful and nice. It just made the stay extra nice since I was going through a difficult time. There is also a nice gym, pool, and laundry room.

Took night stays for around 10 days We were there in Danville for a family function in Dec, 2021. We have booked several rooms at Sonesta Select for staying at night for our guests. I also stayed for more than 5 nights here. Rooms were clean and comfortable. They have provided coffee maker, steam iron and other necessary utility items in the room. Due to Covid, room cleaning services were on booking for next day. We did not use their restaurant and other facilities. Good place to stay at reasonable cost.
