This is a great place to stay in a convenient location! We had to find a room at the last minute on Friday, July 5th, due to our original lodging not having a room for us....on a holiday weekend. After calling multiple places and not finding any availability, I talked with Cade at Comfort Inn and he said that they had a room available. We arrived within 15 minutes and Cade quickly checked us in. He was very professional and personable. In the past, we have avoided any of the hotels close to the boardwalk due to them all being old, dirty and rundown. This is not the case with this hotel. It looked recently painted, the rooms were very clean, and parking is included and we never had an issue finding a space. This was a really great find and we will be back.

Nice choice for a Santa Cruz experience Very good location and AJ at the front desk was very friendly and helpful to my daughter who was traveling solo so it was also a safe spot to stay I. Downtown Santa Cruz. The proximity to the Boardwalk was also great and there is a great deli right next door

Average We paid through the nose for one night, but I think that's because the Ironman was going on that weekend. Pros: easy to get to, free parking, free breakfast, restaurants within walking distance. Cons: a charmless part of Ocean St., not near the beach or boardwalk. It is fine for a basic stay and met our needs.

Basic motel, competently run. Everything about this basic motel worked. The breakfast was particularly good because of the many choices. Hot waffles! Fairly good coffee, fruit, pastries and yogurt, toast, Muffins. The room was very clean, and basic amenities supplied, and there was a small refrigerator.

You get a good stay for the price you pay. For the price you pay, you get a good stay. The hotel has all the amenities you need in the room and a good pool for kids to splash around in. I was particularly impressed by Vidal’s reception and Patsy’s room servicing. Both paid attention to their guests. The only downside is the size of the breakfast room, which is small and gets quickly packed, and guests can not find seats or tables to sit on. Other than that, we had a wonderful four-night experience.
