Great We had a great stay during the week of Hurricane Milton. We took refuge at the hotel as it was 10 miles from the water and across from Doctors hospital and on the same power circuit - which came in useful as power went out but was restored within a few hours by FPL. We liked our room, the breakfast that was included had a great selection and we thought the coffee was some of the best. Of note was the staff , everyone was very helpful and nice- it was a very friendly atmosphere in the foyer and outside by the front door. Would defiantly book again.

You can do better Minimal room for high cost. Front desk never attended with no bell to call. Had to yell to get someone every time. Low ceiling lobby area. Trash and amenities every other day. Restaurants are nearby and fairly easy to access. You can do better.

One Noisy Vacation I came for a quiet vacation. Construction going on a meeting room for 2 days consistently. Jennifer the manager was not apologetic as a matter of fact her tone was nasty when I complained about the banging. Constant banging and knocking from early in the morning to late in the evening. Bad construction planning during a holiday weekend. The comfort of visiting guess was not considered.

Great Three Night Stay! I stayed at this hotel for three nights. My nightly rate with all fees was $122.93 per night. I was assigned room 513. Service - I checked in using the mobile app and digital key, so when I arrived I went straight to my room. I never interacted with any staff members. This is a big plus. I estimate the digital key in the app only works 50% of the time at Hilton properties. Room - Large room. Super clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. It looks like it was recently remodeled. The room looked and felt new. Great working wall AC unit. Great working mini-refrigerator. No safe. Iron. Ironing Board. Comfortable desk chair. Sofa bed. Conveniently placed electrical outlets. Wifi stayed connected and was fast. Bathroom was bright and clean. Walk-in glass sliding door enclosed shower. Lots of space for your toiletries. Hotel Information - The hotel has 121 rooms and 5 floors. The fitness center is located on the first floor. Outdoor pool and hot tub. Hotel felt very safe. All doors lock at night, and you need your key to enter. Although the hotel looks like it recently went through a remodel, the elevators were left out. They are old and slow. It only appeared one elevator worked throughout my stay. Although Hamptons Inns have a complimentary breakfast, I never eat it. Location - Great convenient location. The hotel sits at exit 207 directly off of Interstate 75…Bee Ridge Road (State Road 758). It is located in an area called CattleRidge…..lots of stuff within walking distance…..Publix, Starbucks, Miller’s Ale House, McDonald’s, Smoothie King, Walgreens, Burlington, LA Fitness, The Home Depot, Walmart Supercenter, Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Dunkin’, Arby’s, Chili’s, Taco Bell, Joey D’s Chicago Style Eatery and Pizzeria, First Watch, etc. Here are some spots and their distances from the hotel. Pinecraft Amish and Mennonite Community – 4 miles Big Cat Habitat – 4 miles The Mall at University Town Center – 7 miles Marie Selby Botanical Gardens – 8 miles Siesta Key Village – 9 miles Rosemary Art and Design District – 9 miles Saint Armand’s Circle – 11 miles Sarasota Jungle Gardens – 11 miles Lido Key – 11 miles The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art and Ca' d'Zan – 12 miles Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) – 14 miles Overall I loved this hotel. Great location and great room!

Poor coordination and service Wrong room with no AC. Alex the desk manager wasn't accommodating or caring. Driving from near Pittsburgh to Tampa, expecting a Hampton to be nice, to arrive to a king bed vs 2 queens, I got a shoulder shrug, and that's all I have. Ok fine, I'll deal with it. Then i realize the AC isn't working. Again, well, I'll try to get someone, yeah, 10 pm, I'll pass. While mistakes happen and things break, he knew it was the wrong room and the stink in the room told me this wasn't the AC first day not working.
