Hilton Vacation Club Ridge on Sedona

Beware of the aggressive timeshare people This place was just ok. There were quite a few things that would make me stay somewhere else next time. It started with the check-in. I checked in at the counter to the left. The guy checking me in wasn’t the friendliest. He told me i had to give them a credit card as a “hold,” but only $1 would be on the hold. He was wrong. $99 was put as a hold on my card. After I checked in, he sent me to another counter ( to the right when you come in). He didnt tell me what it was for but, I walked over anyway Well, it was a woman who was VERY aggressive about signing me up to go to a timeshare presentation. She tried offering me all kinds of incentives to attend and did not want to take no for an answer. That rubbed me the wrong way! In addition to that, the ceiling in the kitchen of my unit had a hole in it and when a big storm came, the water dripped all over the kitchen floor! According to the front desk, many units had this problem. Not good. I liked the location because it’s out of the traffic of downtown Sedona but, I’ll find somewhere else next time.

Vacation There are times when a special individual needs to be recognized for going above and beyond, their professionalisms and their people skills, so we would like to thank Misty Campbell the employee which all company’s would love to be part of their team.

Place needs work This use to be one of our favorite places to stay. Wow it has gone downhill! Grills don’t work, dirty pool, hot tub closed. The maintenance has really gone downhill! As I write this review a guest is skimming the pool for all the bugs so she can swim. Oh and the phones in our room don’t work to call and complain!

An Update is Needed The Resort is impressive as you drive up. As we entered our condo, there was a pool of water on the entry way floor when you stepped through the front door. This was after you walked by smelly bags of trash not far from our front door. The unit is well laid out though the place is well used - furniture is getting beat up - and the unit needs some TLC. The Resort stressed their cleaning protocols and yet outside on the lanai there is a cigarette butt and a beer can metal flip top that hasn’t been cleaned up. So far, not impressed.

Very Nice! Except for the check-in experience and a few minor maintenance items the resort suited our needs well. The staff, especially Will (the concierge) were quite friendly and customer oriented. Location is excellent--avoids the heavy traffic of Sedona but has easy access to all the activities and local facilities.
