Definitely better than reviews I was nervous to stay here for my son's basketball tournament after reading the reviews. But it was the teams hotel so went with it. I am glad I did. Is it a luxury getaway spot, no...but it's great for what it is. The room was dated and side chair I wouldnt sit on. It was dirty and stained. But the room was extremely clean. The linens were nice and towels plush. My kids had fun in the pool. Coffee and cookies in lobby were nice. Lobby is pretty and we enjoyed a conference room for pizza with the team.

Beware Stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton at Westport from 7/8-7/10/2024 for a business trip. The worst experience! I arrived and my room was gross, gunk under the tv, cigarette burns on the carpet, bath tub clogged so when you shower water would just sit in there and last but not least bed bugs! On 7/9 I woke up with insect bite marks not knowing what they might have been from but later on that evening I was packing up and I discovered a bedbug on my bed. I went down to the hotel lobby to explain my discovery and they just brushed it off as if it was no big deal. They changed my room and I just couldn’t fathom being in that hotel any longer. This place is disturbing and staff doesn’t care! Please don’t stay here!

Average Hotel in out of the way location I chose this hotel as it was near my meeting. The hotel is a bit out of the way as it feels like you are in an industrial park. The hotel definitely needs a face lift inside. The rooms were dated, clean but dated. The biggest problem I had with the hotel is that there was that the light came pouring into the room in the morning over the top of the curtains. You might as well have had them open. It made it impossible to sleep after that. It they didnt have a curtain issues with light I would give the hotel a 4, but it is impossible to not be woken up in the morning by the light.

Odd location It was a good experience overall. The rooms are dated, but clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a strange location, with the nearest restaurants about a mile away. It's walkable, but a bit of a walk. The lobby bar does offer food, but it was really crowded. The hotel offers an aiport shuttle. They told it us it started running at 6:00 am. When we tried to take it 6:00 the following morning, we were told it takes guests from the nearby Sheraton first and should be back by 7:00 am for Doubletree guests. We ended up taking an Uber. It would have been better if they had been upfront about that. We didn't have any issues taking the shuttle to the hotel from the airport. There were a lot of families in the hotel from a soccer tournament, and the hallways were noisy with kids running up and down the hallways. I'm guessing this wasn't a normal occurrence. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet. We booked it as part of the room rate, which made it a better deal.

Weekly stay I stayed at this hotel for a week which it wasn't equipped for a long term stay. I was told it was upon checking in. Also I was told other amenities were offered but they weren't. Room was clean and I felt safe. Hotel isn't modern and rooms aren't. I do not like they charge for breakfast which when trying to purchase they didn't have a lot of options and waffle maker was broke. I also ate at restaurant once and I wasn't satisfied with food. Food taste like it was processed. If you need a quick place to stay or rest, it is a good idea. I wouldn't recommend a long term stay or a place with a variety of food choices in hotel. Also I waited on shuttle over an hr and they stated shuttle comes every 30 mins. I would recommend getting a Uber or Lyft to airport
