Red Roof Inn Terrell

Rat Poop My husband made reservations for a room with a king size bed for November 25th. We walked in room 102 and there are 2 double beds. NOT QUEEN size beds. After unloading or luggage my husband walked the room and saw rat poop on the floor in two different areas of the room (we have pics to prove it) and the mini fridge was NOT COLD. The people in the room above us had kids and they were stomping for abt 30 mim after we arrived in our room. I called the front desk and asked the lady to please have the room above us to please stop stomping since it was almost midnight. But guess what the kids were back to stomping at 6am the next morning. Again I had to call the front desk and again nothing was done. So we were only able to get abt 5 hours of sleep and we weren't planning on checking out until 11am. Also, before going to bed we took a shower and went to get a towel to dry off and the towels looked like there had been blood stains and the wash clothes were dirty. After all of this, come to find out, if you make reservations for RedRoof Inn via a 3rd party like expedia you do NOT get any points. To get your points you must make reservations directly through RedRoof Inn.

Horrible! This is an ok place to stay if you like soft beds and lots of noise. We got a second floor room, because we thought it would be quieter. WRONG!!! When we walked in it was 105 degrees outside and probably 100 degrees inside. We cranked up the air conditioner. I thought it was going to take off it sounded like a jet plane, then the crickets started. I thought they were in the wall, but after the sun went down they stopped. We went to dinner and came back it was a little cooler, not much though. we watched some TV and decide to go to bed. I was sleepy, but could not sleep due to the soft bed which felt like a hammock when you got in. I couldn't get comfortable so laid awake and listened to the AC. About 3 a.m., I heard a horrible racket outside so I got up and looked out the window next to our room on the ground was 4 dumpsters and guess what it was time for the dumping of them. the trucks would pick up a dumpster dump it in the truck and then drop it on the cement. you could feel the building shake. that happened three more times. I may have gotten one hour of sleep all night. I will Never be back here EVER!!!!!

Comfortable stay. They are remodeling at this time. This is an older hotel that is being remodeled. My check in was quick and efficient. The staff was great and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable and great beds. It’s easy access from the interstate and close to Dallas. I recommend it to anyone needing an affordable quality stay.

Enjoyed our stay Convenient to the interstate. Many fast food restaurants close by as well as places to fuel up. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. We travel with two dogs and we’re placed at the end of hall. The dog area was right outside the exit which was absolutely great. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. I would for sure stay at this property again if I pass thru that way ! Thank you !!!!!!

La Quinta Terrell Staff was friendly and accurate. Hotel was easy to get to. I felt safe and secure. I’ve never stayed here before but would come back. The hotel was average for a La Quinta but nothing stood out for me.
