Nice Holiday Inn Express Very Nice Hotel currently being renovated. The room was very large with a king bed, desk, small table for 2, and a couch. The refrigerator in the room had a small freezer which was nice. Hotel is under a bit of construction but it didn't present a problem. Breakfast had a good selection of items and was well stocked. I would definitely stay here again. Road to the hotel is kind of curvy.

Family visit hotel on the road Very comfy room, well equipped; good breakfast and nice attendants. Hotel seems to be in midst of renovation; plumbing issues obvious (no basin in public restroom!). Hot tub not working. Would be nice to have a towel bar in the bathroom. Grip rail an inch above toilet top not too helpful for showering. Didn't get time for indoor pool.

June 21st weekend stay The rooms were nice. The beds were very comfortable and the AC worked very well. The breakfast buffet had many options. Our safe didn't work, so Dave, the maintenance man, came to fix it. He was very polite, professional and personable. The hotel provided an extra blanket and towels without any wait.

Not worth the prices they are charging We stayed here one night last weekend for a nearby family event. The good: the staff was very nice and friendly, and the beds were comfortable. We had to leave early the next morning before breakfast and there were basic food items out such as yogurt, cereal, coffee, etc. The bad: Hotel is undergoing badly needed renovations and didn’t have one sign anywhere on the exterior identifying it as a Holiday Inn. Our room seemed clean, but was very outdated and there were stains on the sofa. There was a hand drawn emergency exit sign with stick figures on the back of the door. There was a non- functioning light, and very few outlets to plug our electronics in. The worst: We were charged $223 for this room, and after staying there, feels like highway robbery. After returning late from our family event, we turned on the AC and all fell asleep, only to wake a short time later bathed in sweat. After trying to get the A/C working a few more times (and discovering the compressor was not working), we gave up and turned on the fan, which blew the air around but did not cool. In the morning after a hot and sweaty night, we discovered the shower diverted valve was stuck. After several attempts to switch it, we finally managed to move it halfway so water was spraying partially out of the shower head and the rest coming out of the faucet. While checking out, we told the front desk person about our issues. He was nice but was not the manager and told us to call back. I called on Monday, but was told the manager was out sick and was not expected back anytime soon. I was promised a small ‘points’ refund to my rewards account for our inconvenience, which of course never materialized. On the off chance we have another event in this area, I will avoid this hotel like the plague. It was definitely not worth the money. I’ve stayed at much nicer hotels for far less money.
