Hampton Inn Virginia Beach-Oceanfront South

Exceeded Expectations! Stayed here on a business trip and loved my newly renovated room. Hampton Inn’s wouldn’t typically be my first choice but this one blew away my expectations. Very nice hotel, staff and a great breakfast. Also nice to have the parking garage on site. Will definitely stay here again if in Virginia Beach

A Second GREAT Stay!!! This is our second time staying at the hotel. We came back because we had a 100% positive experience the last time. We were not disappointed this time either. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The newly renovated hotel is wonderful. The rooms are gorgeous. The rest of the facility looks great too. The breakfasts are delicious with great variety each day. The staff is friendly. A special shout-out to Yosef, Shay, and Latoya for exceptional service and great attitudes. The BEST part of the hotel is the overall cleanliness especially our room. Thank you!

You will be happy here. Everything about the hotel, location,cleanliness,staff,breakfast, was great,48 seniors(bus trip) stayed 3 day and 3 nights,great place to stay,right on the boardwalk.we had several with wheelchairs and walkers, and they made sure they had handycap rooms.

Great Location But Disappointing Issues This hotel has a great location with oceanfront views and free breakfast. The pizza restaurant downstairs is also great and had live music. Unfortunately there were several problems that made this stay pretty disappointing. I was traveling with a group and had 6 rooms booked. My online confirmation (directly with Hilton) had me booked with all rooms having 2 queen beds. However 2 of my rooms had just one King Bed & a couch. The front desk staff said there’s nothing they could do about it. This was unacceptable to me. Another issue was that I had to request for one of the rooms be cleaned 4 times. I’m not sure what was going on with house keeping…. Late night noise was also a problem at this hotel. There was shouting after midnight possibly coming from outside? I’m not sure… Finally my biggest issue was the construction going on at the hotel. When I booked the hotel this was not mentioned on the website. Then shortly before the trip, I got an email that the pool & gym would be closed due to construction. These were amenities that led me to booking this hotel. And by then it was too late to find a new hotel. Major disappointment. Due to these problems I will most likely stay elsewhere on my next trip to VA Beach.

Great nights sleep! The room was really nice and very clean, with a beautiful ocean view. The beds were very comfortable with soft pillows. There are renovations happening but that’s life - it didn’t impact our satisfaction. The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff all around was very friendly and helpful.
