Hampton Inn & Suites Detroit/Warren

Could be better It was a very gloomy looking room. Window was broken and no one cared to fix it. It was just tapped with duck tapes. The bed side lamps weren't working. Carpet had stains on it. The full room smells bad. We were staying there for 2 days and we didn't saw any house keeping. Yes it was cheap but there are other hotels nearby which aren't that expensive either. Never staying again.

WORST HOTEL IVE EVER BEEN TO Okay, first started when i got to the hotel , wasnt a sign on the hotel. hallways smelled HORRIBLE, the room was okay until i expected the bed and found stains and holes in the covers and sheets. Then later that night i came back to the hotel to get ready to go out for the night & seen BED BUGS ALL ON MY COVERS AND ON MY CLOTHES. so i killed 2 of the bed bugs with a rag and took them down stairs to the front desk and told them what i found. once i told them to open the rag to see the BED BUGS they didnt want to open the rag, the bugs was still crowling. THE PEOPLE AT THE FRONT DESK WAS HORRIBLE AND HAD A SMART MOUTH , THE MANAGER WASNT THERE, SO THEY SWITCHED US TO ANOTHER ROOM WHERE THE ROOM WAS STILL DIRTY BUT I COULDNT DO ANYTHING TEL THE NEXT MORNING.... THIS HOTEL MESSED UP MY VACATION AND MY TRIP ,. SO I LEFT DETRIOT, MI AND WENT BACK HOME, DROVE 8 HOURS FOR BASICALLY NOTHING.... DOO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL , PLEASE .... ITS HORRIBLE

no called rodeway inn... should be called rodekill inn the worst hotel i have ever stayed at. none of the GYM EQUIPMENT WORKED.STAFF COULDNT FIGURE OUT my choice privileges number. LOCK YOUR DOOR. tvs are stuck in the early 90s with basic cable. MY WINDOW WAS NAILED SHUT... probably to keep out the things that go bump in the night.... thats the kind of people i saw hanging IT HAS WENT DOWN HILL FOR SURE, it is now . IT WAS CHEAP SO I GOT WHAT I PAID FOR : FOUR WALLS AND A BED, they no longer offer breakfast. UGH. just stop and turning into an apartment building for the weekly and monthly guests... so business travels wont be shocked!

nasty! nasty!! nasty!!! Rooms do not look anything like the pictures... The first room we had, the Springs came thru the mattress.. So we proceeded to request a refund to stay elsewhere. The man at the front counter suggested another room and My answer was, Unless it has a Totally different bed, There was no reason for us to stay.. Would you believe the Bed was much better than the first room we stayed in which was very very old. Like DUMMIES, we decided to stay, since it was after 1 am and we did not know where else to go. In the morning, We had a Bowling Tournament to go to and when we got back, our Key Card did not work. So AGAIN, i proceeded to the front desk and this time, they told me that someone else had checked in our room.. And By NOW I am LIVID, cause all our property was left in the room. He walked us to the room and open it and ALL our BELONGING where gone!!!!

Run!! Run like the wind!!! Sorry but this place was a dump. there was trash and cigarette butts everywhere. People were up all hours of the night making noise. There were people camped out outside entrance number 2 with the doors wide open. Who knows who was going in and out of the hotel ? Our room was soo dirty. It had visible dirt on the floor as if it had not been vacuumed in months. There were dirty socks left in the room that did not belong to us. We had driven 14 hours to get there and it was 1am we had to be at a tournament at 7 the next morning so we did not have time to try to change rooms or anything --we had to buck up and get some sleep. Thought maybe they would clean it the next day that we were there. but nope. We came back the next day and it wasnt even touched. Beds were never made or anything. The elevator was broken and we had to take the stairwell where obviously people go to smoke marijuana. the smell was so strong i had to hold my breath to walk through it and it still made us cough . The people hanging around there appeared to be shady. you couldnt tell if they were visitors or loitering. We were supposed to get a free breakfast but not a word was said to us about it and honestly the way that place looks there was no way I was going to eat there when I was afraid to even walk on the carpet with no shoes on. I told the kids I would make sure and do more research next time. From now on we are staying at a popular brand name hotel i dont care if it is twice as much. If you check tripadvisor you will see this hotel needs some serious intervention. Or why doesn'tt one of its corporate administrators go stay there and take a look for themselves? I am so glad I didnt get the suite upgrade I was thinking about doing. If it was even half better than what we were in it wouldnt have been worth the money. The hotel was a complete trash pit. The people that ran the front desk were friendly. thats about it. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
