Flawless experience My family took a quick trip for site-seeing and a Spirit game. The hotel is conveniently located to the National Mall. We were able to just walk to the Lincoln Memorial with a few stops along the way. We did Uber back because we had two exhausted kiddos. We used the metro to go to the game. Union Station is only a few blocks away and was only about a 15 minute ride. The room was clean, had comfortable beds with good pillows, and a well-designed bathroom with plenty of shelf space and outlets. The staff was great; they were a big addition to our flawless experience. The valet staff was very friendly and the evening bellman, Justin, was the best! He gave us some great pointers on transportation and restaurants. On our arrival he pointed out directions to go to the metro and restaurants from our hotel window. Highly recommend for business, sporting event, or vacation!

Dirty!! This hotel was dirty. Stayed in room 306. There was hair on two walls in the bathroom in plain site. Hair in both beds once the blankets were pulled back. Floor was crusty in a couple spots. I will not stay at this hotel again. I’m not sure how anyone gives this hotel a good review.

Average stay, things to improve Stayed here during a recent trip. The suite I booked didn’t look much like the photos on the Hilton app but realise you can’t have it all. The room was fine enough but the finishes are showing signs of age. Housekeeping was spot on every day. Front desk staff nice enough although something as easy at check out as saying “did you have a nice stay?” was completely missing. Seemed they were just going through the motions. The bar was the biggest issue. Although the guys serving were generally nice, they’d close when they fancied. So although the bar is advertised to staying open until 11pm, one night last orders were called at 9.10pm and the other nights 10pm. The staff then had their bags and were well out of the bar before 10.30pm. Other guests subsequently arrived thinking the bar was still open but received no service. Location wise, this is 5 mins walk from Union Station and around 10 mins walk from the Capitol. I won’t say I wouldn’t stay here again but I’d think twice before booking.

Good Location and Great Staff I attended a conference at this hotel. It's within walking distance of the Hill and historic sites. Check-in was quick and efficient. Hotel staff were wonderful: bell staff were amazing and kind; the catering staff were hardworking and responsive; and the front desk staff were extremely helpful. Unfortunately, the hotel is dated an in need of updates. After finally getting the shower handle unstuck and operable, the shower leaked during my entire stay. The room was worn and bed uncomfortable. I couldn't get the temperate gauge to work properly. I ended up checking out early. There appeared to be three events while we were there. I don't believe there's enough space for multiple groups, but the hotel staff made it work.

Good choice for business in the city Excellent experience on a recent overnight. Great location, helpful, friendly staff, clean updated room, large bathroom with plenty of storage and a walk in shower. Room on the small side but great view - perfect for a DC business trip. Lobby bar doesn’t look like much but the bartenders are top notch and the drinks are excellent. Rates and prices are DC priced but you have to pay for quality. A good choice for doing business in the city
