Beyond perfect. Along the interstate highways from Portland, Maine, to Portland, Oregon, without question this is the best managed, best staffed (not only are they friendly but they are actually knowledgeable--they actually answer questions and respond to requests!), most comfortable, best suite-equipped (they have glass and ceramic plates, and silverware, and even have salt and pepper in the kitchenette, and a little bottle of dishwash soap; and dual heating controls in the separate bedroom and living area; and double doors to separate the bedroom from the living area), the best meals (a happy hour with real food that some guests eat in replacement of dining out and with beer and wine, and a hot breakfast). Moreover, it has been refurbished recently, and the furniture and rooms are virtually spotless as they always were. I hate posting this because I don't want the place to be overrun and overwhelmed by patrons. But it's a fact. I've been there a number of times. It hasn't slipped at all. Would that any hotel chain could boast of a facility like this one. But in our experience, none can. P.S. There is a Wegman's supermarket two minutes away for those of you who want to bring food (prepared or fresh!) back to your room. This place takes the cake.

Reliably good quality hotel chain, with very large comfy rooms Great suite sized room with large double bed and sofa bed, kitchenette and comfortable seating. Good welcome on arrival, first class serve yourself breakfast; choosing from cereals, porridge, fresh fruit, pastries, toast, sausage and scramble egg, yoghurt, or all of the above to really set you up for the day. Have now stayed in a few IHG hotels and have not been disappointed

6 night stay to visit family This hotel is slowly renovating each floor. We were assigned to the 5th, but heard no construction noise from the floor below. Though the new construction in our little studio suite was mostly nice, they did it on the cheap. The old and dark wood cabinets remain, which look dated. Also in the sink area. The shower stall does not have a sliding door. So when the hinged door opens, it is towards the toilet, away from the other wall, where the towel hooks are located. Dumb design! Speaking of the shower, it looked as if they bought the cheapest type of hand-held shower wand that they could. The cord is hard plastic, very stiff so you can barely adjust the height and water spray direction you need. Taking a shower with it during 6 mornings was a chore. For some reason, this hotel has very few small suites with king mattresses. So we were stuck with a Queen, when we are used to a king at home. Again, after the 4th night of 6, that got “old”, and made a good night’s sleep tough to get. Breakfast food was as boring and untasty as in most included hotel buffets. We don’t expect better from most places at this point. The one Happy Hour that we attended provided bad beer and wine. Sorry I sound so negative, but they were just not good. On the bright side, the front desk people were always very friendly and professional. Especially one night when I had an accident and fell out in the parking lot. The woman at the desk was quite helpful to my husband and me. Another nice thing is the location of this hotel, which is near to many kinds of businesses. Mainly, the large Wegman’s supermarket.

Centrally Located... If you want to explore all Buffalo has to offer, this is an excellent place to stay (especially if you have a car). It is located south of the downtown area, but not so far that it is out of the way. Staying here made my ability to visit a special restaurant in Bladsell very easy and convenient. The hotel is nicely kept. There is plenty of parking. Staff are friendly. And the rooms are a very good size. All in all, a great choice!

Great hotel One night stay on our way to Albany. Stopped in Buffalo to visit Niagara Falls and we needed a place to stay. Great hotel, quiet, no issues, breakfast had a nice variety that pleased everyone. Will stay again.
