Very accommodating in our time of need My parents and I were evacuated from our house in Lake Shastina. The staff were very nice and helpful. They even let us have our cats, Slim Shady and Dewey stay with us. I also was given notice right away when a 2nd room became available. They had coffee makers in the rooms, hairdryers, and Direct Tv, and went out of their way to take care of us. Thank You Jefferson Inn!

Best available option This was our second choice, as our first was full. Saying that, next trip this will be our FIRST option. Room was clean, with fridge and microwave. Bathroom was small but effecient. For some people, the shower might be a bit tight. It appeared to have been updated recently with paint and bathroom fixtured. The carpet should be replaced with a hard surface flooring. Will stay again. Real highlihgt. It was 104 degrees when we arrived. The manager handed us water bottles of cold water.

Filthy disgusting room This hotel would be the perfect candidate for that show "Hotel Impossible". Need I say mote? Basically a dirty dingy disgusting room with stains on the sheets, walls etc. When I woke up I was really looking forward to my morning coffee at least. However, when I opened the coffee maker there was a dirty filter with grounds still in it. Basically they hadn't cleaned the thing at all. So we just packed our luggage and went to the Black Bear diner down the street to get coffee and breakfast. Oh, when we did go to check their complimentary breakfast the office wasn't even open-so much for that. The only good thing I can say is the AC kept the room nice and cold-but you would have to get up on a chair to change it because it is so high on the wall.

Filthy roadside motel...bugs, disgusting bathroom and bed... keep driving! I picked this motel based on some positive reviews online and because I needed something in this area for 1 night while on a road trip to visit family. What a mistake! It's by far the dirtiest hotel in the U.S. I've ever stayed at. Lots of dirty mix-matched and stained chairs outside rooms, weeds, etc. greet you when you drive up. The room had stains on the sheets, cigarette holes on bedding, pee on the bathroom floor, and a coffee maker with used grounds in it. There were various bugs on the walls and flying around in the room too. For over $100 a night, I would expect at least a clean room and bath and fresh coffee in the morning. Never again!

Rough Missing smoke alarm (I guess you need to bring your own), unusual door lock (you may need help to operate), attic access is provided, built in doggie door between bedroom and bath, handy plug-in for your cell phone, satellite TV does not get any of the major networks, reading material is provided (Bhagavad Gita), convenient wall mount for hair dryer (but you’ll need to bring the hairdryer), bring your own breakfast, possibly the world’s smallest soap packets, 2 hangers, bed comes with bedspread but no blankets, coffee tastes like water which might appeal to some. They provided 1 room key. Wi-fi worked fine (once you put in 10 digit numerical access code). The door locked, the curtains closed, the heater heated and the toilet flushed. What more can I say.
