Veteran shutterbug Cara Dee Stucke honed her artistic eye in 27 years in the portrait-photography field and today attends annual workshops and seminars to stay abreast of modern techniques. Cara Dee snaps elegant, contemporary shots of weddings, families, and high-school seniors using high-tech equipment such as 21.5-megapixel sensor cameras and light-bending hand claps. Before each photo session, the creative team can proffer wardrobe and makeup consultations, taking time to heed customers' requests for the overall vibe of the shoot.
On-location sessions voyage into the tranquil confines of nature for a romantic ambiance, and shoots in the CaraDee Photography studio allow for edgy, urban-theme photos with self-provided props. Images make their way onto prints of all sizes, emblazoned on top-quality metallic or lustrous papers, custom-created books, and videos replete with music.

I have been a professional photographer for over 5 years and have a passion for helping others learn how to use their camera and discover their creativity!
Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
Students should have and bring their own camera that has the option to use manual settings.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I know so many people who have great cameras that have so many cool features, but they don't know how to use them.
What do you love most about your job?
I love creating unique images that the client will love for a lifetime and working others to share my passion for photography
Pellegrino's School of Music & Art molds artistic minds from toddlers to adults in a variety of visual and musical mediums. Though Pellegrino's breadth of subjects is diverse—ranging from kids' art classes to college-prep musical theory—its goal is simple: teach. Rather than splitting their time between renting instruments, selling sheet music, or any number of other services, the instructors focus intently on improving students' musical and artistic abilities through group and private lessons. Pellegrino's also takes their clients' time into account, offering music lessons over Skype so students don't have to worry about driving through traffic or running a seven-minute mile with a trombone strapped to their backs to make their lessons in time.
Skype lessons are limited at this time to guitar and drum lessons.
Matt and Heidi Giles have seen things similarly for quite some time, from when they met in high school to their wedding day in 1999. They now share their vision with other clients as the dual photographers behind Freedom Photography. They shoot family portraits, weddings, and other life milestones, but they also love to share their skills with others in hands-on classes. In these, students can learn to use their cameras better while taking a stroll outside or casually sipping on glasses of wine.
