Q&A with the Owner
Exercise is challenging, and people frequently give up on their fitness routines. How do you keep clients motivated?
We keep clients motivated through education on routines and nutrition. [B.L.A.D.E. stands for] Balancing Lifestyle Attitude Diet Exercise—to reach maximum results.
When and how did you first develop a passion for fitness?
Since I saw Arnold competing on TV. And I always wanting to be a bigger, faster, stronger athlete.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
B.L.A.D.E. is a place for everyone to come and work toward reaching their goals and to feel like they're part of the family as opposed to just being sold a membership.

Though Joe Elmore has the certifications to prove it, his sizeable biceps are enough to convince anyone of his love for fitness. Elmore puts his passion and rippling arm muscles to use conducting intimate boot-camps and personal-training sessions within his private gym packed with advanced, custom-made equipment. He invites all ages and athletic abilities, leading innovative workouts to promote weight loss, muscle gain, and long-term health. Because his group classes are so small, Joe even allows students to play their own workout music, from favorite hip-hop songs to disco remixes of Jack LaLanne’s famous lectures.
As they enter the training circle at Curves, female guests come face-to-face with the smiles of other women. And just as points on a circle share a common distance from the circle's center, workout participants share the experiences of those nearby by trading stations throughout the 30-minute training session. One minute is spent on a piece of strength-training equipment built for feminine frames and designed to work two opposing muscle groups with a single movement. Exercisers then move on to a recovery station, where they run, jog, or dance to maintain heart rates and keep platforms in place during momentary losses of gravity.
