Organized under the motto, "Putting the people back in people skills," L.A. Say Inc. teaches its students how to excel at interpersonal relations. A published author and trainer, founder Tameka Anderson designs all of the company's programs using her background in criminal justice to infuse each lesson with an imaginative focus on honing interpersonal relationships. Aside from its consulting services, L.A. Say Inc. also organizes kids' theater classes, during which younger students learn how to interact through teamwork and imagination, giving them a welcome distraction from adolescent antics such as launching notes at classmates with slingshots.
Brianne Gould defies the adage that "those who can't do, teach." Where many acting instructors never make it past summer stock or dinner theater, Gould's résumé of juicy roles is the envy of many an actor. From her recurring role as Brianna Ortiz on Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns to her work in Big Mommas: Like Father Like Son and the Lifetime movie The Wronged Man, Gould knows what it takes to carry a scene, and to get major exposure. Through her acting school, The Monologue Girl, Brianne prepares fledgling thespians for the spotlight. In weekend workshops featuring scene-study exercises that instill students with effective acting, improv, and audition techniques, Brianne enables tomorrow's Poitiers and Streeps with her proven expertise.
At Acting Out Studios, Lance Camarillo helps beginning and
seasoned actors take their skills to the next level, be it for theater,
film, television, or all three. Highlighted by his work with stars from Disney
and Nickelodeon, Lance’s résumé includes roles in a multitude of productions,
as well as a degree from the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. He sews
all that experience into his teachings such as on-camera workshops and six-week age-specific programs. In the six-week programs, students can work on fully bringing their characters
to life, all while reacting to onstage moments in a natural,
relaxed manner that doesn’t involve having their limbs controlled by the
strings of a puppeteer.
